I didn't always agree with Laurel, but she seems like a genuinely good and nice person. I don't like all the hate that's come her way this season. She did what she felt was best for her and it didn't work out. She may have kinda folded for Dom and Wendell, but at least they were loyal to her. I'm more annoyed at people like Angela and Sebastian who gave their games away in the finale and have no logical reasons for it.

I think the word 'trust' is a bit overused. It usually evaporates in the first half of the season, even though the contestants keep using the word. One good blindside and everybody is looking over their shoulder.

There are some warming up to the Final Four fire challenge, but I still have a few problems. One of the reasons they implemented the Final Three FTC was so that whoever won Final Immunity wouldn't just take a goat. It was a lot of power for the winner, and it would be easy to take a goat, with a few exceptions here and there. With the Final Three FTC, there was a final vote, and it was a final test of alliances and gameplay. This gets rid of that final vote and replaces it with another challenge. Final Immunity winner gets to take the goat with them (both Ryan and Laurel were the goats) but the fire winner gets an advantage because the jury got to see them fight for it. Perhaps in the past people were voted out at the Final Four because they were huge threats to win, but at the same time it simply made the risky moves riskier. If you make this big move, there is a vote at the end where you could be targeted and you won't have an Idol to protect you. It's an even bigger risk. Now, though, you can just hold on to your Idol til the last vote and practice fire. I'd continue, but I'm tired of typing.

Wendell, Dom, Chris and Michael are guaranteed returnees, Donathan, Kellyn and Libby maybe's. Personally I'd like to see Wendell in an All Winners season otherwise he's screwed. Dom, Chris and Michael will probably be back in a HvV scenario

I'm looking at it in hindsight, as he is right now, with his hundred grand almost gone. He tried it the safe way and it didn't work out. Fodder for some future 'haunted choices' season of Survivor, when Jeff has to use a walker. I'm just saying that if Dom HAD gone head to head in the fire challenge against Wendell, and sent him to the jury, the glory would have been boundless and he could have done nothing but bury the remaining two at the final jury vote. 10/0, maybe 9/1 with Fagathan being the holdout.
