I love Sandra to bits, but that was a great Survivor move. Love how humble she remains after this epic burn. She owns her mistakes, that's very mature. Queen stays queen, at least in my heart. I doubt she'll make it back with all these sharks and physical threats back at Extinction (Go Natalie!). Now Denise needs to carry it to the end! Can't wait the see the other tribes' reactions during the next challenge!

I don’t feel that. I think she tried to make a big move and pull in Denise while gaining fire tokens. She pulls it off she controls the game early merge. I feel like she gave up her leverage too quickly and didn’t solidify a a better bond with Denise. Otherwise, this would’ve been a fantastic move. Don’t respect that she quit tho smh Sandra. Queens don’t quit.

Everyone is talking about how Denise is amazing BUT if this move went the way Sandra intended, it would be just PERFECT. She played a risky game and that's how it's done in Survivor, you have to take risks cuz most of the time risk-takers are those, who win the game in the end.

It was bad move ..look at Kellee from last season how she managed to make that move when she gave Dean her immunity idol and how she would have protected herself if Dean had played her and voted her out..it is too risky to all vote one player and leave him decide who to evict ..simply Sandra could have thrown a vote to Tony to at least force a revote ..

I also think Denise is really stupid to betray her deal with Sandra .. I mean with Sandra using her to secretly get rid of Sandra's main threats, Denise can actually avoid being voted out if the next eliminations come up ( Denise can use her remaining idol in the next elimination to get rid of another guy and the numbers will be on her side by then) ... whats doubly stupid of Denise is she thinks she can curry favors with Jeremy by giving up her only sure protection in the form of giving him the idol .. as we see in Survivor history, most players do not return the favor when the situation calls for them to put the favor under the bus..

Completely agree that it would have been a great move had it worked the way Sandra visualizes it to be. This is also why I never thought of JT’s giving his immunity to Russell back in HvV as a bad move, cause if Russell was on the bottom of the totem pole back at the Villains tribe (which he was not, but the heroes tribe percieved him to be at the bottom knowing Parv’s history with all female alliances), JT’s move could have steered the course of the game the other way with the heroes dominating the end game

Like she said on her exit interview. She said to herself that she wasn't going to play with her emotions before the game starts but she's only human at the end of the day & remember she was in her mid 40s, much older than when she played before. She shouldn't get jealous of Jeremy. I feel like Tony probably would have brought her in the top 5 at least, maybe even further had she stayed in the game & vice versa. There is something magical when the 2 of them work together, its like they think very similarly. They can tear the competition apart. If only they put 100% trust in each other, they could have been the best team ever.

Denise was my least favorite player this season. Her moves seemed so random and pointless. Having Sandra as a shield and asset post merge would have helped her but she just wanted the trophy kill for no reason

Why would Denise need a shield? Before her move, she wasn't considered that much of a threat. Shields are only good if you're one of the threats yourself.

Its different scenarios, with Sandra she was right that Denise was vulnerable and by all logic should accept her offer to be used to secretly play out one of the guys, but what Sandra did not expect was that Denise is stupid enough to reject her offer and instead try to curry favors with Jeremy, the same Jeremy who wrote down Denise's name to get her out. Its stupid, why would anyone who is in a vulnerable position reject an offer to be used to get rid of people who are trying to vote her out, and in the process sacrifice her (Denise's) only remaining idol to curry favor with someone who do not promise any favor in return ? What Sandra failed is to see how deludedly stupid Denise can be ...

This is a worse move than J.T. giving his idol to Russell. I'm sorry lol. Both had incorrect reads on the game but at least in some alternate reality where J.T. was right it creates a huge shift in HvV. The way it looked to the heroes, Russell had a lot of incentive in flipping. What incentive did Denise have or did Sandra create for Denise to want to align with her?

Sandra is a very good player in many ways, winning twice while being one of the worst physical players in history... that itself is imo very impressive. and in Game Changers she lead the Tony and JT vote brilliantly, maybe her best season. that being said, she royally fucked up here and showed she is not a perfect player (but I don't think there is a single perfect player in Survivor history)

I agree. Her social game is good but that’s all she has. She won in HvV because of a bitter jury and kissing up to the heroes. Players like Sandra show you don’t really have to work and fight to win and earn the $1,000,000 like others do. She definitely is overrated. To me, this was honestly pretty satisfying.
