Super interesting episode. Dan has the worst edit I’ve ever seen right now, LOVE Dean and Kellee, Kellee was amazing this episode acting like she had no clue about Dean having an idol. Noura saying “why wouldn’t he play it last time” lmao. Super happy Dean made merge because I really wasn’t sure if he would. Idk why Jamal was edited SO negatively tonight when he didn’t end up going home, I guess they’re setting him up for something. This is one of the best premerges we’ve had at least if we’re going off the tribals, hopefully the merge can be like that too.

H P I agree with you on Season 37. Season 38? That one is best left forgotten, imo. 😂 That season was an experimental season that didn’t quite work out. Other than Devens and Reem (for very different reasons), there weren’t any memorable players, either. This season has been above my expectations so far. I thought this season would be forgettable prelude season featuring BRob and Sandra, but I have been wrong. And I am glad.

I'm not a fan of Dean. But I thought it was a good episode. I didn't think Jamal was edited negatively. I feel like he's a good guy and maybe had a moment where he wasn't being that considerate, but everyone does that from time to time. I feel like that has come across on the show (like trying to save Noura and saying he was proud of the women for sharing their experiences during tribal and his friendship with Jack).

I was impressed with Kellie in this episode. Giving her idol to Dean with out anyone else knowing and convincing Noura to vote Jack. She also voted with the majority and acted all shock to cover her tracks. Little did they know she masterminded all of that. And the cherry on top, it forced Jamal to waste his idol on the wrong person. I didn't expect this season to be this good. Can't wait for the merge.

Single-handedly one of the best moves ever made by Kelle. She gives the idol to Dean so he trusts her while also making other original Vokai not suspicous of her. This also makes it where she can flip on old Vokai or stay with them. She also knew Dean would play the idol so she still voted for him just for saftey. She also got a threat in the merge out. As of now Kelle is my winner pick. Another thing I liked is when Jack apoligized for tripping while placing down his torch.

Every pre-merge episode of this season was dynamite, this one being the last. It's a shame how terrible it ended up being with all of the controversy, since people will forget how truly great the pre-merge really was.

Amazed at how the Noura and Dean's conversation ended up in Noura's favor from last week. As well as that, Noura played so good this tribal to the point that Jamal played his idol on her. Jamal really played himself this episode.

Jack’s on the jury because either Rob and Sandra join the jury on night 39 and production didn’t want the possibility of a 4-4-4 tie with a 12 person jury. Then again, the oath of the idols says they can’t vote so maybe that’s an impossibility. Or the island of the idols wants to diversify with it’s advantages and not do too many duplicates so they want to do every advantage and idol rendition in the book so it’s possible someone will be voted off the jury.

Can I just say that was an INSANE move by Kellee? Using the idol for Dean, making sure noone knew it was her that gave it to him, and then using Noura as a backup vote for Jack in case Dean turned on her. All the while voting with majority so everyone is none the wiser. If she stays in much longer she's gonna make it to the million.

I see Jamal get a lot of crap for this play but I think this worked out probably the best it could have for him. He saves face with Noura who has now voted out his two closest alliance members so she may keep him around since he played his idol for her. Playing his idol for Jack would've been a crazy prediction and forced a re-vote where likely Kellee, Dean, Karishma and Noura would've voted for him and maybe Janet as well. I think he's bought himself some time and is a good a spot as you can be in his shoes.
