Prejith Alex Victoria and Lauren came up with a plan to split votes between Devens and Ron, and then when Aurora and Gavin were brought in the plan was to have Lauren and Gavin vote Ron, with Gavin voting for Ron twice, whilst Aurora and Victoria voted Rick, just in case he did not in fact have an idol to save himself.

Victoria, Lauren, Aurora, and Gavin pulled off one of the best moves I’ve ever seen in Survivor last night. Victoria and Aurora voted for Rick assuming Julie and Ron would stick with them. Then Aurora gave Gavin her extra vote, so he and Lauren could give Ron 3 votes if Rick did have an idol. If Julie and Ron decided to vote with Rick against Aurora, Ron would still go home because Gavin can use the extra vote in a tie breaker. But no give all the credit to Rick for voting incorrectly once again (5/7 times now).

That they are not so flashy is the correct way. Too flashy with the jury and you become a threat. The three of them sharing planning of this is also removes any of them looking like obvious threats afterward. Even giving the extra vote to Gavin even spreads responsibility onward to him too. Those four were definitely responsible for Ron's elimination, but Rick stood out for trying to play the expired advantage thus seeing that Ron and Julie weren't on his side, and then playing his idol and still being safe with that knowledge. But that all really came down to good circumstances for him while Victoria, Lauren, Aurora and Gavin were the true masterminds.

Anyway, of the six remaining, I think this is how their chances of winning go from best to worst: 1. Victoria, 2. Devens, 3. Lauren, 4. Julie, 5. Gavin, 6. Aurora As far as the TEN people on the Edge of Extinction, I don't think it matter which one comes back because s/he'll immediately be voted off for fear of a winning narrative.

ZP Survivor I’ve seen a lot of people who hate this season. So I’m glad that people are appreciative to this. I bet you when they’re at like Survivor 48 this will go down as an Underrated season or just iconic.

this is almost identical to what happened to alexis in fans vs favorites: first Ron won the family visit at final 7 got to choose 2 other people (+ their loved ones) to go on reward with him, and Ron got idoled out in the same episode by Rick who wasn’t on the reward, the only difference was there was no exile island and no medevac in between Also love Ron’s face in the thumbnail

I think Eric was closest with Ron and Julie. If Eric were to re-enter the game it's in his interest that Ron were still there. Of course he's not celebrating.

@@bc5163 That's a good point. I would reason that Eric is just naturally more stoic as well. He's the guy I figured the producers placed in the cast to represent the every day person. He's a firefighter dad in his 30's; that's definitely going to relate to people more easily than some of the others' occupations.
