...I mean I doubt a tenth placer ever comes back nowadays. This was only the fourth season and Rob was the main showman until his vote-off (which is rare considering screentime is usually focused on the eventual winner)

GlassesTarzan off the top of my head, 10th placers who have returned: Jeff Varner, Rob Mariano, Shii Ann Huang, Andrew Savage, Jerri Manthey, Bobby John Drinkard, Laura Morrett, JT Thomas, Brenda Lowe, Dawn Meehan, Vytas Baskauskas, Jeremy Collins, and Ciera Eastin. So yeah, I think 10th placers have had a pretty good track record to return.

@@SouthernSkeptic Rob legitimately shouldn't have been on All Stars in the first place. Sean was meant to be in his spot but for some deranged and fucked up reason producers CUT Sean at the last minute and replaced him with pre-juror Rob. At least with Shii Ann it's understandable; she was screwed by fake merge and was the best/most likeable player in Thailand. So had Rob not have been on All Stars, he would definitely not have been on HvV/Redemption Island/Island of the Idols. He would've probably been on Second Chance instead as his second season, and if he won he could've been on WaW. THAT would've been FAR better and more appropriate exposure of Boston Rob than 6 fucking seasons. He wasn't even likeable in WaW. He was too controlling in Sele and was far too dictatorial. I don't care if his buddy system post-swap was a last ditch effort it was an annoying last ditch effort.

@@um773 nah he deserved to be on all stars he dominated his tribe before the swap where he got screwed. He showed a lot of potential during his first season. That’s why he was brought back for all stars where he completely Dominated that season from beginning to end in a messy way

I'm watching survivor from starting at season 1 and let me tell you Vecepia is easily one of the most forgettable winner imo. I think that was the most boring outcome that could have happened. Neleh is much more memorable.

@@MasterAydenSmall Vecepia, Kathy and John were the best players on this season. Boston rob became the best player in the future. In this season Rob was too outspoken and hostile to people. John trusted Neleh + Pascal and got screwed over. They didn't seem like flippers to me so they would have fooled me too. Kathy played a great game to start off so terribly and grow into a fantastic player by the end. Vecepia was a great under the radar player from start to finish. She deserved the win the most.

Then, he went to Heroes vs Villains and played like half Marquesas Rob and half Blood vs Water Tyson. Then in Redemption Island, he won. And we don’t talk about Winners At War. Marquesas was his only poor showing. All Stars he should have won, but the jury was bitter. Nearly everyone backstabs. They couldn't handle he outplayed them. Heroes vs Villains, he was in the majority alliance, but Tyson made a silly move and got himself voted out. Then, Coach remained neutral when he was supposed to be in Rob's alliance. Not his fault. And he won Redemption Island, so....he got rid of his biggest targets.

My theory is that they showed her vote because she was the winner of the season but played with a very passive, under the radar style of play that's really hard to properly demonstrate on television. This vote encapsulates basically her entire method of gameplay though so it was a chance to show how Vecepia plays

Alejandro Delgado I hate Rob too but the biggest reason he lost so early in HvV was because of Tyson being an idiot and changing his vote. Rob had 0% control over that. There's no excusing what happened with Jerri/Coach turning on him tho

Rob suffered in HvV for the same reason players like Rich, Colby, Rob C., Ethan, and Tina suffered in All Stars. People saw their games and got rid of them early so they couldn't repeat. Jerri stated she was scared that Boston Rob was doing exactly what he was doing in All Stars. She had seen his game and knew to get rid of him. Coach didn't turn on Rob, he was just a fool who didn't want to take a side.
