Koito is a Japanese Tier 1 OE lamp supplier, to the best of my knowledge,, they don't have an aftermarket line. Will just about guarantee those were factory installed.

Good lighting and good wipers are my "must haves"! I'm glad you kept it "stock appearing". I think LED's would have taken away from the nostalgia of an 80's legend.

I need these on my 1989 240SX and 1994 Corvette. I was holding off in hopes of a good LED upgrade. This seems like a nice simple upgrade that fits stock. Also, im.sure those bulbs are original. I also have a 2001 BMW that I bought new. 122k miles and the passenger Headlight bulb is original.

Yeah, they're not LEDs, but for a stock upgrade, they're really good.

Nice car! I've always loved the Conquest and the Starion! There was a really hot blonde that had an ''electric blue'' I think was the name of the color of it Conquest that I would see parked at a factory in my end of town. The first time I saw the car the hot blonde was driving it and the sun was just at the right angle to catch the color of the car and the wheels and It was stunning! I don't think it could be improved upon! The wheels are just perfect on that car! If I owned one and needed to put wider tires on it I would try to get wider wheels that looked exactly like the ones that are on the car! I just don't think the looks of that car can be improved in any way! I don't think the hot blonde that owned the Conquest could be improved in any way either! I had a very jealous girlfriend at that time and when she saw me staring at the car she started giving me a hard time saying that I had to be running around on her if I would stare at another woman like that with her in the car with me! I just looked at her and asked ''What woman?'' because all I saw was the car believe it or not, I never noticed the very large breasted blonde behind the wheel! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Mitsubishi's here in asia usually have stanley brand, my vw bug still has sealed beam headlights with relays, they still have a yellowish light, people think they are fog lights haha i have the halogen set on a shelf in my garage, man your starion is a beauty

From all the info I have gotten, the Kioto lights appear to be factory installed.

In Europe Starion’s came with Stanley h4 lights stock and look very much like those hella’s Even with the tabs you cut off, I think they have a spring on those tabs to keep them in place when adjusting.

I’m upgrading as you mentioned, but what about the fog lights? Don’t they look different (whiter on lights, and more brown on the fog lights?). Do you have a similar conversion for the fog lights?

The difference isn't really enough to notice. I had to look at mine again just to be sure.

Just noticed... your Starion is missing the hood badge, and depending on the year of your car you have either the wrong seats or wrong steering wheel.

It's an 88 car with the wrong seats. I would love to find a good set of 88/89 seats to go in it.
