I think Jessie was screwed when he didn’t win Final 4 immunity, not fire making. Here’s the thing-If the fire making thing wasn’t around, Jessie was going to just get voted out 3-1 in the old format. Fire making ACTUALLY gives Jessie one last chance. He got robbed, sure. But he also had TWO individual chances to win to F3 and didn’t succeed in either challenge.

Cirie in Micronesia makes me sort of mad [because they changed it from final 3 to 2 in season and imo that should have been stated not. oh well SURPRISE] but for me the one where cirie got robbed was in that stupid season where EVERYONE had some sort of vote immunity but her. no one voted for her and she still gets bounced. that's really what killed the series for me and i stopped watching for the most part. the fact that Jeff doubles down on it being "a good thing" reinforces my feelings.

I think Devon's an example that often comes to mind for me when this whole subject comes up. The guy was legitimately screwed by a twist that happened after the Final 4 Immunity Challenge that there had been no precedent or warning for. Like, at least the cast of Ghost Island were all told on Day 1.

My underrated pick - Matty. He was kinda like Eddie (but a bit better at challanges and strategy) - if he gets to the end he wins because of how likeable he is (Eddie doesn't 100% has to win against Cochran despite a good shot, but Matty for sure wins against Bob, Susie and Sugar). And a fun fact: Rob wasn't the first one to create the buddy system - it was Matty as shiwn in one of secret scenes

I’m not sure I agree with the term « robbed » for Brett, Keith, and Jesse; sure, they were fallen angels who would have won final tribal, but they didn’t lose because of production choice, overly bitter jury, another player’s « dirty play » (whatever that might mean), or an unfortunate medical evacuation. I feel « stolen » might suit other candidates (or at least an argument can be made: Yau-Man, Colby, Ozzy in cook island, Parvati in HvV, Erik in FvF2, Cirie in GC, Chrissy, Domenik, Charlie…
