He's definitely a good host, although I actually thought Bryant Gumbel was pretty good. Since he wasn't the host of Survivor, and therefore wasn't with the contestants while they were playing, he approached his questions from a neutral perspective, and discussed the season as a whole, rather than simply the highlights. He also made sure to talk to everyone, including the first ones out.
@CloudInvasion6 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I think Brian has to be the greatest villain to ever win this season. He definitely played this game with no remorse, and unknown to his allies and opponents alike, dominated against everyone. And let's not forget, he invented one of the boldest moves a player can make by placing themselves next to someone they know they'll win against. Heck, his loved one's video almost ruined his chances and yet he still won. Excellent player, just can't say the same for his status as a human being.
@clamshell68635 жыл бұрын
It also made him one of the most unpopular and forgetful players of the game. He also would never stand a chance to win again. This was also one of the worst seasons ever.

@@louisgonzales7512 Lol, thats not true. He's not even in the first 50 people you would think of when mentioning Survivor 🙄. It also isn't a bold move to take a goat who you will beat to the end, its actually the weakest move you can make. And even after that, he still literally won by ONE vote! If anyone swapped their vote, then his "goat" would have won.

There was no way the would lose though. Jake, Helen, Ted and Jan have all stated in interviews that they would have never voted for Clay, which means that there was no way that Brian would have lost to Clay. It might be technically a close vote, but in reality Clay was always gonna lose to Brian. That's why he is the first original survivor goat, because no matter what he did, he could never win.

Brian has always been one of my favorite winners ever. While he may not be the most likable winner to ever play his social game within his own alliance was top notch and one of the best I've ever seen. And even during the reunion Jeff said to Brian that he thought he was and I quote "one of the smartest people to ever play the game." That might be the nicest thing Jeff has ever said about Brian and I know Jeff isn't a fan of Brian but at least he gives him all the credit in the world because eat the end of the day he won and Survivor is a hard game to win.

Not exactly... The reason he won was because Sook Jai voted out EVERY good physical player, and then the smartest one. He won the last 3 immunities. I thought after that final tribal council and after all the jurors and finalists spoke that Clay had the votes of Erin, Ken, Penny, and Jake (so all the Sook Jais). I knew Ted and Helen were always going to vote Brian just based off of how Ted and Helen went on that massage reward and talked smack about Clay. I will never understand why people hate this man so much. I understand it might not be pretty the way he "betrayed" Helen or Jan, but this game IS ABOUT INTELLIGENCE and his strategy was really clever. Sure it might look unfair because maybe he got an advantage on the "Fake Merge" twist, but the game has featured other twists just as ridiculous like the "Outcast Tribe" twist on "Pearl Islands" or the "Schoolyard Pick/Day 2 elimination" on "Palau" or the fact that Boston Rob (nothing against him) was going to win easily on "Redemption Island" having more experience in the game and being more popular than anyone. Another thing is that the strategy that Brian used does not make him a ruthless person, and even more so because for me there are much worse people who have participated in the game, such as Jerri Manthey (I hate her since the incident with Kel in "The Australian Outback") or Russell Hantz.

It's Ted's, Jan's and Helen's faults for not playing him before they played him. They should've flipped on him and blindsided when Jake and Penny were still there. They still would of had the advantage, it's also Sook Jai's fault, since they played themselves by voting out Steph, Robb and Shii Ann, who were probably the best players in the season, other than Brian, Ted and Clay.

I think Jan was sort of the swing vote since Ken and Penny were obvious they were against Brian during FTC Ted, Helen and Jake were disgusted by Clay Erin felt "Clay was more honest" when she was voting (da fuck was she thinking). But the context of it all was that she is the only member of the jury that wasn't part of the merge, so when she found out that Brian thought of bringing Shii Ann to the Chuay Gahn five, she distrusted him from that time Jan was disposable according to brian, so she could've either voted both ways

She told him she and Helen had cotton close. Jan was a very sweet person and played the game with respect until this last act. So, knowing this Brian should have taken Jan to the winners circle and not the despicable Clay. But I guess he couldn't because he knew he would lose to Jan. The S.O.B. I hope he's having fun. I just feel bad for Jan. What did she get out of his little maneuver? Yeah, this survivor was not a favorite.
