I think russel should get 100% credit for that Tyson vote out. He realized Tyson’s strategic weakness and took advantage of him. Imo that vote out is the greatest strategic move/idol play in survivor history, and if russel had any sort of social awareness he’d be a 2x winner

For me, Parvati remains at #1 to this day. I know, I know, but at least top 3. No one time player has proven to be better since, and Tony and Sarah round out my top three, but each of their worst finishes are worse than Parvati’s worst game. Parvati’s worst finish, by the way, was because her ENTIRE SWAP TRIBE (Michele, Yul, Nick, and Wendell) HAD A PREGAME ALLIANCE!!! There was nothing she could do, and who’s to say how far she could’ve made it in season 40 if she hadn’t been so unlucky? She’s still the GOAT in my opinion.

Enjoying these ranking videos from various stages of the show. Great insights and I agree with most of them. I'd switch Sandra and JT though. You're missing a lot of the subtlety of Sandra's game. She purposely doesn't push too hard to get Russell out (or anyone specifically) because that will put her on the radar, and it could get her in trouble (Why should she convince Rupert, or anyone, to do something that is their own best interest? She puts it out there, and she navigates her path to the end regardless of their choice. That's her agency). Sandra doesn't overplay (well not until WaW), whereas JT does (unless he has a Stephen to keep him in check). In your commentary for this vid, you're giving JT more credit for what he could've done if he hadn't overplayed, than giving credit to what Sandra actually did.

I'd agree with you about putting Sandra above JT, if Sandra is 8 and JT is 9. I don't think Sandra doesn't push things too hard, especially because from the merge on she kept pushing Russell to the heroes, it just never worked. She was actively fighting for something that was against her own best interest. Had she succeeded in getting Russell out, she's on the bottom of the heroes and loses all trust with the villains.

The thing is for Sandra in HvV (jury management aside) is that she got outplayed by Russell multiple times and failed at trying to get rid of Russell. That’s a massive knock if you get outplayed many many times.

@@gqprince2 Rob loses a jury vote to nearly everyone in any season he makes the end. On RI he would have lost to everyone but Phillip and Natalie you do realize right, just like in All Stars he loses to almost everyone. When it is Russell it is called bad jury management, but Rob's jury management is atrociously bad and nearly as bad as Russell. He is just better at selecting goats to bring to the end with him.
