my hot take is that season 2 had an almost worst case scenario boot order ,,,, and is STILL a great season. imo an underrated part of what makes a season good is how well teams play off each other and the cast for this season played off each other so so well -- it also might be my favorite route of any season ive seen, with the multiple mid leg flights and the proliferation of u turns / yields being things of beauty (that i'm surprised we haven't seen more other versions do)

agreed about All Stars though rewatched after the retrospective video and yeah it’s just so draining. what should be the most fun season up to that point is possibly the least.

idk I still think WaW is massively overrated. Tony winning is incredible and the return of so many legends makes it memorable but it feels like Cambodia and EoE where it just feels kinda soulless.

I grew up on the original and GX, but my favorite is Zexal because it came out when I actually started playing the TCG with friends. The show made Xyz summoning look so cool and it’s still my favorite summoning method. I actually like the first arc of Zexal (Pre-WDC) because we get to see Yuma develop his skills as a duelist as well as his relationship with Astral. It also has some of my favorite moments of the series, like Kite’s introduction, the reveal of Utopia Ray, and the first appearance of the ZEXAL form. The second arc before the WDC finals was really boring and had very little merit to it, but almost every episode of the WDC Finals arc was great, especially Yuma vs. Vetrix and the 3-on-1 of Yuma, Kite & Shark vs. Dr. Faker. I’m currently rewatching it and I’ve only just finished the first half of the show, so I’m looking forward to refreshing my memory of the Barian arcs.

I had a hard time making any sort of ranking/assessment on this cast but in a good way. I like it when there's no immediately obvious popping-out winner picks for me since I'm more invested in how the average player of the season does. I don't necessarily expect all s-tier gameplay and that's fine by me, there's a good variety of personalities I think it'll go well as long as no one dropped the ball on casting any bad people a la Luke, Aaryn, etc. Quinn is probably my personal favorite but I worry about how possibly overconfident and over-energetic his interview answers were, so long as he can tone it all down but still have some sway in the game direction he's one of the best candidates imo, but I also recognized Cam as being a very easy "this is the type of person to do very good in big brother" so idk...

I discovered you right when I was getting into Big Brother a few months ago and love your BB and Survivor videos and so I was very happy to see that you are also into PR as well! Keep up the great videos!

Your line about you don't think Will could adapt to modern play and then you explain how he greatly adapted to the game in all-stars is a very contradictory take. Will played two very different games between BB 2 and All-stars and that is the reason he should be top 3 min. Also, the fact that there was no blueprint for playing BB in BB2. Every idea he had was a unique and innovative one in BB2. Him throwing the final 4 comp to Monica because he had made promises to Nicole and Hardy was just absolute genius. Then there is the fact that he came into All-stars against an all-star cast who had played under rules more similar to All-stars than his season, and he dominates them. If anyone is overrated its Derrek, because we have no clue if he could repeat. Dan had a huge threat coming into S14 and managed to get 2nd. That is impressive. I just am not convinced that Derrek does the same.

Audience was sick of race baiting, over the top advertising and a Price is Right style prize showcase instead of real big winner currency. The clownish casting of slackers wanting to be media stars instead of real people was torture to watch. Fake is out!

I definitely disagree with a lot of this list, but I also totally respect it. Always thought that people gave All stars too much hate. It's a depressing season in some ways, but I really do feel that the personalities carry it very well. I really do agree and appreciate your take on Redemption Island. It's like a rollercoaster, you know how it ends, but it takes some bizzare twists and turns to get there.

Finally fellow Nicaragua enjoyer. I like Gabon more, but Nicarague imo is more chaotic mess and funny too. The major issue is that it's one of the worst edited season ever - purpling of many players, ultra purpling of Kelly, some of the confessionals or scenes were just obviously badly edited into one making it feel like staged. And the worst: tricking Kelly into bringing only sun dress and bikini and then production really wanting to destroy her when she can't take it anymore

damn seeing 44 getting tanked in almost everyone's rankings when it was commonly seen as above average directly after is wild, i can't say i personally agree tho. idk, its def flawed but post swap tika is one of my favorite tribes of all time and while i wouldnt want every season to have this kumbaya of a postmerge, i think it makes for a really interesting change of pace, plus you have s tier characters like yam yam and esp carolyn who could read a dictionary and make it funny so its not like there's no humor to be found

Lol, Every time you announced a ranking and it wasn't 41 I was astounded. IMO 41 is the worst season of Survivor I have ever watched (including foreign seasons) . The cast sucked, the focus on twists sucked and the edit sucked. I do appreciate that you have opinions that are different from the standard though. It is very cool to hear opinions that are unique compared to the conscientious of the fans.

Just based on gameplay redemption island is the worst season in the shows history hands down. I get that it’s interesting to see boston Rob steam roll simply because it had never been done before (similar to seeing ulong get decimated in Palau, it was weird to see a rare event like that happen).. but I believe this is the worst group of players to ever be assembled. Besides Boston Rob I don’t think a single other person played what could be called a “good” game with over half the cast being actively bad players with no potential at all.
