Matthew Plotnick I disagree. Here's why: the interesting thing about Survivor is that the jury isn't automatically built in at the beginning of the game, it is created as the game progresses. The finalists will have the biggest hand in putting the Jury where they are. If you fail to "create" a Jury that wants to vote for you, you fail to succeed at the most important part of the whole game. Russell did this twice, hence why he deserved to lose on both occasions. The best player of all time will understand and care about the Jury. If the game was all about days 1-38, he might be the best player. But day 39 is as important as the other 38 days combined, and Day 39 was the day he completely overlooked.

Mike's win is the classic story. He won the individual immunity challenges he needed to stay and the one time he was vulnerable of being voted out, he played a hidden immunity idol. Gonna give him the credit for his strength in challenges. Outwit? Not really. He was on a winning tribe. That put him to the merge. Outlast? Like what I said, the stars only aligned to him. Really impressive wins for me are Parvati and Sandra really. I'll give Boston Rob props too but I did not like his bossy attitude in Redemption Island. People who are not really strong but outwitted and outlasted everyone. Still hoping one day, Kelley Wentworth joins that league of Winners. I am still keeping my hopes up although I am not sure if she will ever join Survivor again. She's not getting any younger.

Kiera Jin uh, what? Rodney had an even worse social game dude. Mike would have smoked him in the final 3. Sure Mike made mistakes like not keeping his friendship with dan but Shirin and the 3 no collars would have definitely sealed that. He also definitely had Tyler's vote, and if Carolyn is on the jury, she and Sierra both likely vote Mike as well. Also, the jury wasn't "sad" when he left lmao, they didn't like him nearly as much as Mike or Carolyn. And what do you mean Carolyn was a goat? She got rid of Max in a good way to secure her a new alliance and more options, she backstabbed Tyler, played an idol she had early on at the perfect time, and was by far the winner if she beats Mike at final 4.

At least three people (Dan, Jenn, Hali) would 100% vote for Rodney if he were in the final. Joe would also vote for him if he pleaded his case well. If it ends with a 4-4 tie, Will would definitely vote for Rodney, thus he would win.

Kiera Jin Again, where does this come from? Jenn enjoyed one moment from Rodney (his impression) and honestly, the fact Mike defended Shirin really pushes for her to vote for him over Rodney. Not only that but she rolled her eyes at Rodney's behavior a lot, and I could pretty easily assume that Joe and Hali wouldn't be fond of him either. Jenn even pulled a soap box for Mike, since he was on the outs the entire time, I have no idea how you think Rodney was that well liked by his tribe, because the only person I even remotely see voting for him in F3 is Dan.

Kiera Jin Okay I found the article you're talking about so, I'd say it's still up in the air. Rodney said Jenn would vote for him with a "?" At the end, meaning it may not be right. I could see how they could say this in retrospect, but I still feel as though Mike would have pulled it out with Tyler, Carolyn, Sierra, Shirin and Joe based solely on the fact he "survived" their votes. I see what you mean now, but to be 100% honest, I think Rodney still had a lot of bad things going against him. This season was pretty bizarre anyways.
