Well I mean he literally produced it. He filmed it all it's 100% his. When it comes to editing/broadcasting it just comes to what they are allowed to show on public broadcast. As well as how quick they can show it. Like a 4 hour camp build but in 30 seconds. His knowledge in surviving skills is insane... He's learned survival tactics from practically every edge of the world so it's just weird for me to see you say - he's not a smart guy with survival skills. And more about how he just puts it on KZbin. If I got lost and had one survival expert in the world with me it'd be Les. Good damn chance we're both living by the end of it.

@@Arcin321 I mean, if my knowledge is correct on copyright law, just because you film and do something, it doesn't automatically become yours. For instance, who paid Les to do these things? If there's one thing you should almost never do in a real survival situation, it's try to self rescue. Only if you KNOW no one is looking for you, or if you have no other choice, should you try. Is it just me or does this episode come off as more intense than others? Maybe it’s because this is earlier on in Les’s Survivorman career, but you can feel his stress in this one (especially during that first night in the jungle). It’s interesting comparing it to the last episode, where he stays out in another jungle. He says “In the jungle you just have to get used to the fact that things crawl on you at night”. It’s as if it all comes full circle. Whatever it is, this is the episode that made me realize that Les is really out there. Like I actually realize that his in a dangerous environment and could potentially die. The viewer knows that Les survives, but he doesn’t know while he’s filming.

I got those vibes too. At the beginning he only stayed at the shore line, like he was hesitant to go in the jungle, trying to feel out the area first. Can't blame him, those jungles are full of things that'll kill ya, the plants, the bugs, the predators. It's also incredibly easy to get turned around and end up lost, that's game over. Super intense, probably one of the most dangerous place he's ever been and he captured it so well, his apprehension and caution was palpable. Les is and always will be a badas; Survivorman

In survival situation I think cold/ snowy region is the main killer. In hot desert you can at least take shade only move at night to preserve energy, but in cold environment just Keeping body temperature itself is already consume so much energy. Let alone finding something to eat. Keeping body temperature is more important in survival rule of three
@MrRugercat45 Жыл бұрын
I’m with you on hating the heat, it’s unbearable here in Tennessee from pretty much April through October, and I can’t stand hot weather. Put me somewhere cold wet and foggy or snowy and I’m fine. Even the desert is better because it’s dry heat and it cools off at night. Here it gets over 100 degrees regularly. Makes parts of your body stick together that weren’t meant to be stuck together. 🦇

Loved survivor man, I love your KZbin channel. I love that you tell it as it is. If it's tough you say it is, but you teach good lessons that could save lives. I'm soaking up your wisdom, Less

Things want to crawl all over you..........This is why I have always said that the most terrifying time in Earths history was the Permian era. Bugs 2-3 feet long in huge jungles and forests. A human wouldn't stand a chance for 2 days in that time period

I would love to make videos like this in Canada, I find it’s kind of tricky with all of the laws though. If I were licensed to bow hunt that would help a lot. There are lots of different laws that would make it hard to live off of hunting fishing an de foraging with less modern and unconventional means.

Coconut water will also give you the Hershey Squirts if you drink too much. Many pilots shot down in WWII will testify to only having coconut water to drink. And as a result, painting the beaches brown.

THANK YOU!!! I appreciate you posting your work for free. You truly care about passing on knowledge. (I know he gets ad revenue but still, this used to be on T.V and now we can watch it without paying)

I'd kill to see him one do one last episode for fun. After the Covid 1-9 Joke episode I realized how he hasn't lost his touch and is still just as entertaining and endearing, so to see him do one last episode would be killer. If not then I totally get it, I mean reliving all these episodes for free is a gratitude I cannot express in words. Thank you, Les

I propose Survivorman - The Hood. Seven days in the Southside without a gun, knife or pepper spray. Have Les subsist on convenience store groceries or go dumpster diving at various fast-food joints. Alternate locations - Atlanta, Memphis, St. Louis...
