Tonight we will be speaking Patrick who had an encounter in October 2016 while bow hunting outside of St. Clair Missouri, just off the Meramec River.
Patrick writes, ""I had been scouting for several weeks and had been seeing deer every day. For about a week prior to the 13th I had noticed the deer had seemed to disappear. I thought that they had gone into an early rut and the bucks were chasing the does at night and running them ragged.
As it got dark I dosed off probably around 8 pm. I was sound asleep having a dream and actually drooling down my chin when I was awakened. . Mind you I had been hunting these woods since I was able to go in them by myself at the age of 8. It was 2 am when I heard it and it was so loud that I could feel it in my body. It couldn’t have been more than 20 or so feet from my blind from the shear volume but I couldn’t be for sure since I didn’t see it. When I first awoke my first thought was… Is that a gorilla? Because that’s what it sounded like. It sounded like a severely p***** off silver back gorilla braking branches trees and what ever else was in it's [sic] way...
Then it got absolutely terrifying. It started making a noise I had never heard before... At that point I started praying to God because I didn’t want to see what was making these sounds...""

Back in the late 90's, maybe early 2000's, myself and my brothers were hunting in the Tanasket Valley of Eastern Washington when we heard a noise that made the hairs on our neck stand up. The best way I could describe it was guttural. I had never heard a howler monkey until listening to this video but it is very close to what we heard. The only difference was the sound we heard was multi octave. There was a low rumble but also a higher pitched rumble over top. Just thinking about it now has given me goosebumps.

I asked a Native American if Bigfoot was real and he said 100% yes. The roar and vibration in his chest made him paralyzed. It said that's how they kill their prey. I asked him if he thought they were hostile to humans. He said no, that they want to be left alone. He also said his tribe is close to the Apache tribe and he hangs out with them. When they hear it they jump up and try to chase it, but they never can find it.

The terror that these beings can generate is mind boggling. I had an experience in the mid 70's near Drummond, Wisconsin. I was settling in at a friend's cabin after a 500 mile drive. I laid down in the bunk it was very Early in the morning. I heard a very loud gutteral growl that changed into a high pitched scream,. A moment later something bounced on the cabin roof. I was so terrified I thought it was going to hear my heart beating. I laid there praying, if whatever that was would try to get in the cabin. I would die before it gets me. I never felt that much terror again.

I was with two other people one evening about ten years ago, and we had been visiting somebody, and we returned to our rural home in Arkansas. We pulled up in the yard, which had trees , briars, brush and bottom land back behind the house and nobody living back there. It was just getting dark, and we had the windows down . As we pulled in, there was a low, guttural, long drawn out noise coming from the wood line, and it initially reminded me of a Jakebrake, the air brake of a big rig. The two guys in the truck with me, both asked out loud, “Did you hear that?” “Yeah, did YOU hear that?” “That’s a GROWL!” Well, we got in the house really quickly; we didn’t see anything, and didn’t want to see anything, and weren’t hanging around to find out what it was. But yeah, you could just about feel it vibrating, i really had at first thought it was a big truck Very very close by, and well, we didn’t live by a major highway or anything, but in a rural trailer park, bordered by bottom lands and forest. At that house we had heard something smack the back end of the double wide , within a couple weeks of moving in , just a couple years before that night. It was a new phase of the housing/trailer park development, and had been bottomland and uninhabited till we had our home set up in there. One night i had some out of state family show up, and they were in their vehicle about one am, and heard what one said sounded like monkeys. This person was a friend of my relative, they were from a northern state, and had never been to Arkansas, and we just laughed it off and assumed it had been coyotes this person mistook for monkeys, as we had coyotes around in the area. Now i am not so sure.

I live in Washington state and have heard the monkey sounds. I did not know they made those sounds and now I have heard it many times online and it's definitely them what terrifies me is that we slept in our car with the windows down not a care in the world they were close being that we were at the bottom of little mount si. In north bend WA it was on our side of the Mt and it's not that far up to the top I would say they were little more than half way up not that far terrifies me like crazy everytime I remember sleeping there hearing the sounds and not knowing that we could be in danger. I don't feel like they will hurt ppl though unless we are threatening them or if we are in the way of their. Path to a water source I have heard of them knocking tents down with ppl inside and then the person went out to pee and came face to face with it. It took them four hours to hike into where they were hunting and two to get out of there 🤣 but they had set up camp in the path of the river so it just told them basically to get out of its way. Also it played a game with one of them all day every time he would step crunch crunch and stop it would take one step crunch everytime one crunch more after he stopped also the sound is too deep and loud to be coyotes or monkeys it sounds like a huge sound system nothing anything I have ever seen could sound like

I don't believe they're violent usually. I think they use scare tactics because they really don't want to be around humans, it has turned out badly for them in the past. I mean do you ever hear of a Sasquatch actually hurting or killing a human being? And I've heard they're multidimensional beings who can move easily between dimensions. Earth is not really their home although they've always been here.

Maybe this will help more skeptics to understand why there are not a lot of good quality photos or video of them. I think most people have a hard time comprehending the kind of fear they would actually experience in a situation like the ones described. Not many people are going to give a damn at all about getting a photo of one of those beings when they have one standing 10 feet infront of them.

Exactly. Love this comment. Thats absolutely right...no one is going to think that its a good time to snap a picture. Like it was said in the video, even guys with big, large caliber guns, get scared as hell and think they may not have enough firepower. Thats what REAL fear and TERROR will do to a person. Forget about pulling out your phone to take a picture.

I bet one wouldn’t even dare to move to draw attention to him/herself, less take a phone for a snap. The evidences in these stories of sightings/encounters are overwhelming and if one uses common sense, there will be no need for a photo or video to prove what they saw.

I have not seen a Bigfoot with my eyes but I have had lately have found these structures on my land that are not made by nature and that are not human made no way possible and the other day looking at one of the structures realized that one of the large branches used in the structure had literally been slammed into the ground with so much force that it was peeling back the bark it peeled back the bark and I had this aha moment this moment of pure fear and the reality of the fact that I had one on the land. The first time I went to see the structure I was just walking through the woods like I always do and not ran up on it and I was like well that's weird looking and then the way my dog was acting was so unusual and all of a sudden the hair started staying up on my back and I froze and I've never experienced fear like that and you're right you are damn right if I was out there and I had my phone the last thing I would think about is taking a video or a picture because the fear that comes over you is paralyzing it's a different kind of fear if you ran up on a creature that you have seen before that you know exist like a bear or something like that it is a fear of reality and what you've always known a fear of unbelievable and even though I have not seen him with my eyes there's so much that's out there and I have researched it and if it's not a Bigfoot I can't tell you what it could be because it's crazy and I'm going to tell you sick too that I have always been one of these that thought people were silly for believing in it and I never believed in it and I'm telling you if it's not Bigfoot I don't know what it is it's something. But it's messed me up because I've always walked outside and nature in the woods and I can hardly go out there now 🤔

Good. If you felt a malevolent presence and like you were being watched, then it's definitely a paranormal entity that does NOT mean well. I live in Oregon and there's a lot of cryptid sightings, bigfoot and more. They're all demonic entities that mean harm to any of God's creation.. as to why they kill deer and other wild animals.. including people without reason. They stalk for a long time, mentally torture you before they kill you, maim you alive. Like what you saw with that deer. I'm glad you're okay, they're a force to be reckoned with. Be safe out there while hunting, also be careful for any deer who seem to have CWD.

Even I believe in other stuff like the alien farm, big time conspiracy like 9/11, when it came to cryptids and above water, it sounded far fetched to me. The strength of the reports has changed mind. People wouldn't make a fool of themselves voluntarily. And the number. And the number of people who are still in denial... This world is pretty much like a Tolkien tale, LotR for example. And that is amazing!!

I know this police officer who was traumatized by something he had seen. We live in the country so houses are far and few between. It was winter time and blizzarding at the time. Anyway, he was on duty and had gotten a call so he got into his marked SUV and took off towards the location of the call. He said he was driving and all he could see out of his window was falling snow, like a white blanket in front of his vehicle. He's driving when all of a sudden he sees a man, is what his first thought of it was standing right in the middle of the road so he swerved off of the road to avoid him. He ended up in the ditch. Because of the speed he was going and the sheer force of the impact into hardened snow he was semi knocked out. When he started to come to he noticed something moving in front of the vehicle and he only noticed it because of the head lights suddenly go black for a second one after another. Now he's starting to fully awake he turns his head left and looks outside his drivers side window and there it was, with two hands rested on top of the vehicle bent over staring at him through the window. Seeing this made him sit up fast and when he did that this thing kinda stumbled back and now was standing about a meter from his door. The only way to describe it was as half gorilla half human. He described it as having long shaggy hair, that was matted with snow so much it could have passed as something white in color but he was so close he had seen that it was matted snow and it was about 8-9 feet tall. And all of this all happened in maybe less than a minute. He said that just as fast as he seen this thing it was gone. He then grabbed his radio and called for back up, took out his gun and waited for help. He said that this incident scared him so bad that he took a leave of absence from work and asked to be transferred which then happened to be to our area. He was visibly shaken when he was telling us this story, it really scared the hell out of him.

In the fall of 1998 I cycled from Seattle to San Francisco. I stayed a night in Garberville, CA to watch the World Series and get a good night's rest for the next day's 50 mile ride over the Leggett Hill and on to Rockport, CA. I met a fellow cyclist just before the famed Leggett Hill, and chatted with him for a bit. At some point he asked if I wanted to smoke some weed with him. I declined because I'd read/heard the Leggett Hill was pretty tough and full of logging trucks, and I didn't want to be impaired, but I jokingly replied that I'd hate to crash while stoned in Bigfoot's backyard. After an hour or so we said our good lucks and goodbyes, and then after I made it up, over and down Leggett Hill (which wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected it to be), I had a fairly easy ride to Rockport remaining. I can't recall exactly where I stopped to rest and grab a bite to eat, but I'm guesstimating approximately the midpoint between Leggett and Rockport. It was late afternoon and kinda sorta starting to get dark, and as I sat on the side of the road eating I heard in the distance a howl type noise. And then I heard it again 10 or so seconds later. I didn't know what it was, but I also wasn't totally sure of all the various wildlife in this area, however, I didn't even consider that it might be Bigfoot. I finished my meal and hit the road, as my touring pace of 10-12mph meant it would likely be dark when I arrived to Rockport and then setup my camp. This was pre-KZbin, so not a lot of easily accessible Bigfoot stuff was available. I've never said there is definitively no such thing as Bigfoot, nor have I said that there is. What I'm 100% certain of is the howl I heard while stopped to eat was the same as many of the audio recordings people have captured from California to Washington to British Columbia. I wasn't scared of what it could be; it wasn't nearby, but rather a distant howl. I was always a bit anxious the handful of times I was still cycling when it was either completely dark (only once), or starting to get dark, that I might encounter a bear. At any rate, I don't know what it was, but I connected it immediately after hearing audio files on KZbin. My trip in total took 18 days, and it's one of my favorite experiences.

"The Sounds They Make" One cold afternoon in January 2003, I heard what I believe was the howling of an Eastern Bigfoot, although I didn't immediately think "Bigfoot". My daughter and I were in the yard. I was walking our dog and my daughter was playing in the snow. We began to hear this loud, low howl coming from the direction of the woods adjacent to the nearby cemetery. I decided that it was time to go in as it seemed to get closer, and closer, and closer. A few days prior to this, we all heard howling in the distance. At the time, we thought it could have been feral dogs or coyotes. My wife felt the howls sounded most like wolves, although there aren't supposed to be any wolves in New York State. There certainly shouldn't have been any wolves where we lived at that time! This howling continued through a good part of the night. We could hear it inside, with all the windows shut (it was winter, after all), over the television. At no point did we actually see the source of the howling. I went out on the back porch to listen for a while, and it made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. It was a freaky experience! The vocalisations would start as a yip, then turn into a rolling howl that trailed off into a growl. These howls were deeper and louder than anything I've ever heard before or since. They were so loud and deep that you could just about feel them (they could potentially have had an infra-sound element). Listening to the power of that mournful call, hearing the subtleties of tone, I realised that it would have to be a three-hundred pound dog with quite the voice box to produce such a noise. The rottweiler that lived two doors down wasn't that loud when he barked and bayed, and he was a big dog. My own dog, a shepherd/chow mix, also couldn't match the deep tone or volume of our mystery howler. I started to suspect that the mystery beast may have been something else entirely. Other experiences (including wood knocking and other strange vocalisations, like what my wife described as sounding like "parrots") after that led me to the conclusion that it was a Bigfoot.

@@williambennett7033 I never saw the garbage-eating howling creature I came to call Bubba, but an extremely credible witness who I'd never accuse of lying did. Bubba came out of the alley and crossed a side street in like two strides. He was head-and shoulders above a five-foot fence of a small factory on the other side of the alley. The way the witness describe him was all dark brown head-to-foot and built like Shaquile O'Neal in a muscle suit. He was one big dude! Eventually, Bubba moved on, probably back to the more heavily forested areas to our north or east.

Hello. I'm not sure who from Les Stroud's crew will see this, but I hope they will. In this video, Les actually filmed a Bigfoot or something Bi-pedal moving across the trail behind where he and Todd Standing just left. I first saw it when the Episode first aired years ago, but found it again on KZbin. The Title is: "Survivorman Bigfoot | Episode 1 | Alberta | Les Stroud | Todd Standing" The context: Les and Todd had just heard and reacted to a whoop sound to their left. After a brief pause and acknowledgement they moved on down the trail. While Les is narrating the camera picks up an image moving from right to left behind him over his right shoulder. Time in the video is 24:10 thur 24: 26. The exact moment is 24:21. Hopefully some viewers will look this up as well.

I heard something similar while hunting on the edge of Duck Mountain provincial park in Manitoba in 2017. No howler monkey sounds but three whoops followed by the hair-raising growl grumble. I had set up camp by myself and was expecting my partner to arrive the next day. I had cleaned my old .303 prior to heading out and the bolt/firing pin was backed off a thread when I put it back together. I couldn't chamber a round and was basically unarmed at that point other than my axe. It happened around 1:30 am. I sat up bolt upright in my cot and I actually said out loud "What the f**k is that?!" Prior to the sounds there were cattle bawling from a nearby field creating quite a ruckus. The cattle went dead silent when whatever it was made that sound let out the first whoops. It was on the move and was approaching my camp at speed from the north. Thick forest. I didn't make a sound. I was really rattled. It veered away when it got close and then the sounds dwindled away to the south east (heading toward the Shell River valley). I was told maybe it was a bull elk or moose. I listened to all kinds of elk and moose vocalizations on KZbin but none come close. Those whoops sounded like a jungle primate. The chattering growl? THAT set the hairs on the back of my neck on end. I didn't realize that I was holding my breath until it had passed by. I am not too proud to admit that the sounds scared the hell out of me. The cattle began bawling again when whatever it was moved away. It vocalized while on the move.

But this could be completely unrelated but one time when I was like 12 years old I was hitting the tree with a stick and I had a dough run up on me and she got within about 15 feet of me before she stopped and noticed me and started running the other way.I'm not sure if she thought the sound I was making was a couple bucks fighting or what. But after that experience I started thinking maybe they do it for hunting.

After listening to Kerry Arnold and this gentleman speak I can see a common denominator in these very aggressive displays towards us hunters. As a deer hunter myself, we are typically very routined in how we hunt. Usually come in at similar times in similar ways and hunt similar areas. Most of us hunters these days are very systematic and calculated. Kerry had his encounter and this gentleman had his encounter after hunting an area quite a bit and then suddenly when do something different than what they typically do. Kerry was in the woods during the early spring for turkey when he had never been there before and this gentleman was out at night which is not something that he typically or ever did before. It’s almost like they are willing to put up with us hunting during they day and they pattern us while hunt, giving us our space. But then we do something different and we either surprise them or we unknowingly cross the line and they have enough. Just my opinion.

@@svtdan643 I disagree. They are animals - albeit, probably the most intelligent non-human animals on the planet if they exist. If they are smart enough to lure people in such a way, then they may also be smart enough to know that it is not in their best interest to antagonise humans in the long run. I think they are curious - most hominids/primates are curious and do not engage in this type of 'malevolent' behaviour toward humans. So, I suspect that the individuals in the recordings were marking their territory and making themselves known (among other things).

I to live in Tennessee. Knoxville at the moment. Used to live in Townsend/Maryville area on Cold Springs Rd. right behind Perry's Mill dam on 321hwy. Had several unexplained problems at that residence. So much so,...my wife and I moved to the city. I had a little woodshop in a small lawnmower building just off the house. I used to go out there at night and piddle. One night,....something threw a boulder completely through the back wall destroying a bunch of my equipment. This stone weighed 385lbs. Yeah. We weighed it. Now what in the hell,.... out in the woods,....... can pick that up,..... and throw it through a wall splintering 2 two-by-fours like toothpicks, destroy a Delta ban saw, and kill a Cub Cadet lawnmower??? Had a few more incidents. No sightings. But sounds and pretty aggressive activity at night. We loved it there. After 3 years of living there with not problems,...something decided it didn't want us there. My wife seems to think me getting the shop set up and making racket is what caused it. Who knows though. Couldn't take the fear anymore. Its real.

Ive come to the conclusion Patrick is both smart & wise. I think he’s probably right that this primate type being is certainly a territorial species, & wanted him gone.

I agree. As a surveyor who even camped out for work weeks on end in season it was only when I decided to split up with my teammate and try an old old logging road short cut back to the truck after finishing up a one day project that I encountered what I can only describe as a Manimal 3x my size, strength, or speed stalking on parallel out of sight beyond the tree cut limit line. Initially alerted coming across a small pile small rocks like something a child might stack up but my primal red alert senses suddenly kicked in and I only proceeded on with visible respect, deference and caution picking up my pace with an eerie sense of being closely watched. Only thing I heard was impossible activity I couldn't see the source of so I broke off a good size and length dead fall branch for a defense weapon at hand but soon after heard the crack and pop only a very large diameter green tree branch makes intentionally busted off ... as a warning ... lucky to make it on out of there and when I met up with my long time crew mate he could tell I was really shook to the core and didn't want to share it but finally said "we're all done out here" to witch I said something like " good, I'm never going back there". Gigantapithi are not an 'extinct species' period..end of transmission.

Wild hogs are in abundance in Arkansas directly south of Missouri so bears yeah, coyotes definitely, mountain lions possibly, wild hogs I don’t know but being so close to Arkansas I’d almost be surprised if there are not any.

Usually a blind is on the ground. Otherwise it is referred to as a stand.

I heard sounds, last night, I've never heard, in the North Woods of NH, USA. 10-15 feet from me. Snorts. Only sounds around. Just outside my bus conversion. Went back inside, and loaded my rifle. That was last night. Still there now. Dog was acting weird earlier, and I was still hearing sounds. Knocks. Snowing heavily now. Dog went to sleep. Whatever it was, went to bed down. I've heard bear, moose, and deer. This wasn't any of them.
