I think it was even worse :( I think she felt anger. You can see a glimpse of it at 4.09. She said she ´felt nothing´ but there is a brief expression of contempt as she mimics the stabbing motion with her hand. She´s saying she felt nothing, in order to give the impression that she was taken over by drugs and was essentially a zombie on autopilot (and that was part of her defense). But I think she was lucid, she felt something (contempt), and that is even more chilling than her claims of feeling nothing. Her behaviour in court and her complete lack of empathy for the victims families further demostrated her contempt and active hatred.

@@phoebevaughan5095 Lol, that’s exactly what her cellmate reported feeling when she started talking about the killings. In case you don’t already know the story, the cellmate, herself on trial for stabbing her pimp boyfriend, was so creeped out, she notified the DA’s office of her conversations with Atkins. Some of the Manson family, including Atkins were in jail already on other charges but authorities had no idea of the murders they had committed. Atkins had a lengthy list compiled of other celebrities they intended to kill and was quite excited and deranged as she spoke about the entire experience.

@@PaulDoe79 i certainly agree that she's just as guilty. Even if she didn't hold Tate's arms, she's just as guilty because 1) she was there and did nothing to help the victims, and 2) didn't immediately go to the police, which allowed the killers to remain free to kill the Labiancas. So she's definately guilty and I'm not suggesting she's innocent. So she's guilty of 11 deaths (I'm including the baby) . Don't forget she was there at Hinman's murder as well.

If she truly accepted Christ, and asked his forgiveness, then she is in the eternal presence of God right now. It’s so lame how people comment on here setting themselves up as God, many of whom probably don’t even have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Who are you all to determine whom God can and can’t forgive? Look into your own hearts because God’s Word says we all fall short of God’s glory and will stand before God and if you did not know Jesus Christ and accepting his finished redemptive work, you will stand condemn before God regardless of whether you committed murder or not and that includes everyone including Sharon Tate. Susan Atkins went to prison for life , she died there and deserved to be there until her dying day. The issue is not about parole , it’s about God’s forgiveness. We all deserve eternal Hell as much as Susan Atkins. Jesus Christ was there for Susan Atkins as much as he is here for all of us. I encourage people to lay off the judging and look into your own hearts and see where you stand with Jesus Christ.
