Susan Cadogan singing her UK number 4 hit 'Hurt So Good' on TOTP in April 1975.
The song was covered by Jimmy Somerville who had a UK top 20 hit with it in 1995.

When we were young in the 70s this song was always being played at the fun fairs

I was 17 when this came out and I always remember it for having a fight t the Briston fair at the Watltzer with a couple of bikers who didn't like young soul boys.

I give thanks for singing it!.This is the BBC orchestra's version, not the real Perry rhythm though...but still many thanks!....When I do my shows and say.."Dont you know that it"?...everyone shouts back...."Hurt so Good"....it is a lover's anthem!!
