@@MichaelGilmoreTV A lawyer told me a story about a past client. He said the young man was charged with murder. He was just sitting at a bus stop on his way home from work. The police were looking for the description of a 6 foot plus, African American male with long dreadlocks, and wearing a black shirt according to a few witnesses. . They pull up to the bus stop and arrest this man around 11:30pm. He is 5'6", wearing a navy blue work uniform,a white shirt underneath and a light grey hoodie. They arrest him, charge him with murder, and he stays locked up for a full year awaiting his trial. No bond for a murder charge. He lost his job, his home, and his clean record. Day one of the trial, opening statements.......the defense attorney asks each witness....."is this the man you seen that night?" Both said no. He is way shorter than who they saw. Case dismissed. Then they filed for an expungement of the murder charge. The state refused to budge for 2 years. When he told me that, the only thing I could respond with was "FUCK!". I don't know if it's true or not, but I had no reason to believe he would be lying about one of his cases.
