Another clip plucked from obscurity. This version has a nice light touch in comparison to the recording studio version. Susan looking lovely as usual.

No she’s not the original singer for this song. It was written by Debbie Dovale. This song was really popular to cover

My Father knew this lovely lady in the early 60s, I always liked her music. Miss Maughan's live version is so much better than the dual tracked studio verson, she is a real singer.Thank you So much for posting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great to see her videos on You Tube.

@littledebs585 ай бұрын
Yes! WE recorded it because our manager thought Judy, who sang it could make it a hit. Well....she did 58 years later. Here's an example.....Creedance Clearwater Revival wrote and recorded PROUD MARY.HOWEVER! TINA TURNER ALSO RECORDED IT AND THEN IT WAS A SMASH HIT! MOST RECORDED AND PLAYED SONG BY BANDS AROUND THE WORLD.

@@thebarrenhuman6736 What even was that analogy? How does that have anything to do with this. I'm just trying to say that back then, what was copying music was very different to people in the 60s than what what it is today.
@thebarrenhuman67363 жыл бұрын
@@musiccubed2650 and I'm sying there really isn't a difference. If you copy, you copy. You can't get out of it or excuse yourself just because it's in the system. It's like saying, corruption was a different thing back then as it was what was done. What kind of logic is that? Copying is copying eventhough people don't see it as copying, it doesn't depend on the people's opinion or society's. It is a statement itself.My point is, it seems to me like you're trying to back them up for copying back then just cuz "it was a thing" which clearly is obsolete and irrelevant. As I've said, the state of copying doesn't rely on how people perceive it.
