This so perfectly captures my beliefs about life and our beautiful ship. Susan Osborn is an artist I have long admired. She deserves much more credit and recognition for her talents that she shares with us.

素晴らしい曲ですね。たしか、イギリスの民謡だったのでしょうか。埴生の宿は日本で親しまれている民謡ですね。映画、ドラマなどで使われた例として「二十四の瞳」「ビルマの竪琴」「純情きらり」等がありますね。とっても素晴らしいイングランド民謡だと思います。素晴らしい映像に大変マッチしてとっても心が癒されました。ありがとうございました。

+mnssmmt さん、おはようございます。スーザンさんは日本が大好きなアメリカの方で、日本の唱歌には自然の美しさに感動する心や自然を愛する気持ちがこもっていて、それが環境を守ることにもつながっているとして、多くの唱歌を英語で歌って世界に広めて下さってます。この曲は、作曲はH. N. D.さん、原詩はT.H.ブロスナンさんと言われていて、お二人ともアメリカの方のようです。日本語の歌詞は里見義さん、加部巌夫さん、大槻文彦さんの3人でお考えになったと記録されています。ここで歌われている歌詞は原詩や日本語の歌詞とも違い、スーザンさんやご主人のデイビッドさんが、日本語の歌詞を基にお考えになったものです。お礼に歌詞の一部をご紹介いたします。ありがとうございました。時の果てに立ち止まり、私たちは誰なのかを思い出す。私たちはみんな旅する仲間、見知らぬ人も友達も、生と死をくり返し進化してゆく、喜びと悲しみをシェアしながら。私たちは笑い恐れ、人生という学校で学んでいる。私たちの心の中にある宇宙は生きとし生きるすべての命を抱きしめている。私たちの場所はここ。私たちの時間は今ここ。日の出から日が沈むまで私たちが共に過ごすこの美しい日々、私は決して忘れない。
