@Urban Atheist As a woman in the music/entertainment industry...believe me that interaction spoke volumes. Actually for anyone, woman or man, but especially for a woman in the industry for him to say no word of welcome when she came all that distance and did all that excellent work, was not kosher. He basically practically ignored her which was disrespectful. By not allowing him to dismiss her, by taking the initiative to make him acknowledge her, and by looking him in the eye and start off their professional relationship in a way that respected her presence most definitely was her demanding her respect and he recognized that. A lot of people were intimidated by him and would allow that kind of treatment to slide, but she did not. Good for her.

Prince had Morris day perform his alter-ego music he created. All of "The Time" music was really prince's "other" music low-key.
@c.i.83174 жыл бұрын
Which is why I find it extremely disrespectful for Morris or ANY of The disgruntled Time members to say negative stuff about how Prince was jealous or he was nervous about their getting popularity!!! It's quite funny when you understand and know the history between the two camps knowing Prince ALL by himself created the personas all of that which made The Time, Morris, and all the other groups as well. Except for Mazarati. Those guys came with their own Swag which is why Prince worked with them an even shorter period of time than any of the other bands. And they were primarily handle by Brown mark, Prince's bass guitarist who was friends with, I believe, Sir Casey Terry the lead singer of Mazarati.
