Hands down, one of the greatest and most talented females singers on the planet. She does not get nearly enough recognition. What's crazy, is her current singing would decimate this performance.

I have to say, Jamel, that when you hear the real blues, it gets to you. My little brother and I have been playin' the real blues for decades. He made a good living playing real blues and I have played, just for myself, for 56 years. My brother is 10 years younger.

This song was on Susan's studio released album entitled "Just Wont Burn". It was released in 1998 and garnered national attention. Not sure of the brothers name rocking out the keyboards, but like you I got a huge kick out of him getting all up in it during this performance. Also, I am in agreement that Austin City has some of the best bands on planet earth come thru there. Play their videos ALL THE TIME! Love what you are doing Jamel, some of your reactions just crack me up, makes me smile and laugh and keeps the heart warm. Keep on keeping on Jamel. The world needs more people like you in it.

Susan is an amazing artist whether she is singing her own music or of others, you should search for Tedeschi Trucks at the White House playing for the Obamas to celebrate blues or search for "Angel from Montgomery" or really any Susan Tedeschi or Tedeschi Trucks Bank music. Although her voice is gold she has an amazing group of musicians to play with. By the way Derek Trucks (her husband) is the nephew of Butch Trucks the former drummer of the Allman Brothers and also toured with them.

You likened her voice to Beth Hart. Indeed so. In the same category of "powerhouse voice", I'd encourage you to react to Danielle Nicole Band (terrific blues/rock voice and bassist out of Kansas City) or the Joyann Parker Band (blues/rock/soul/country out of the Twin Cities). Each of the ladies fronting these bands must have found a way to hide a spare lung up on stage as there's no other explanation for the power they have in their voices.
