Sushi Box FX - Grand Slampegg Demo

Very cool! How would you say the Grand Slampegg compares to the Finally v2 and the Slampegg Bee Pre? From what I can tell other than the size ofc, it doesn't have the LOW & HI toggles. And ofc you've decided to got with the 6SL7 over the 12AU7 (Finally v2), and the 12AX7 (Slampegg Bee Pre). I'd love to hear your thoughts on how each of the tubes differes in tone/character.

If I don’t need the XLR then with the Slampegg Bee Pre sound the same?

Nope, they're apples and oranges at this point. Slampegg Bee Pre uses a 12AX7, which is higher gain than 6SL7. Also Slampegg Bee Pre was designed to be able to get into overdrive, which is why it has a gain control, whereas Grand Slampegg was designed to stay completely clean, which is why it doesn't. They have shared DNA and they feel related, but they're definitely not the same pedal.
