It is my first time ever as to see the real situation inside the Wimbledon stadium when a tournament start. It was amazing cause there were too many audiences ( much more than what I could expected ) as to watch the match . I also like to pay my respect for your strong patience , especially it took you long time to get your ticket . It was very much time consumed I deeply believe. Anyway , I hope you enjoyed to watch the match in the stadium during your stayed in Wimbledon. Thanks again Susie for taking such a lot of your time to make this video and share with us . Much appreciated indeed. Last but not the least , I wish you would enjoy the strawberry and cream at home , although you didn’t get one in the stadium. Have a lovely weekend . Your very best Jee Man

你真的很獨立而且勇敢,自己一個人參加人潮這麼多的活動,我很愛看網球,但自從Roger Federer 退休和Rafael Nadal 受傷,我就沒有那麼大的衝動想看現場的比賽

I started watching tennis because of Roger. After Covid and Rogers retirement I’m glad I still have the passion to attend live tennis. I like watching the newer generation too. Alcaraz and Sinner and like the new Federer and Nadal - great rivalry between them.

I really like Susie's description of an event, such as how things happen, the way people are organised, one's feelings and observations. These narratives are detailed and vivid, also with interesting phrases. I was educated in UK with a master's degree, but sometimes it feels like more difficult to talk randomly but meanwhile in an interesting and clear way (that makes people believe you do enjoy what you say) than writing for academics. I shall get better at it. Thank you for your video~

Definitely worth it. We were touring around most grand slams and Wimbledon camp was more memorable than the others, because we can get tickets in front rows on the center court. Seeing those top player hitting 100 mph back and forth under your nose vs watching in further back seat or TV broadcast are very different. You will understand why those seat are sold for $$$$ in the other slams, if you can get it without being scammed by agent $$$ agent fees. The experience itself was well organized and fun because we are surrounded by genuine tennis fans, not by cooperation sponsored tickets

So funny when you said you are actually filming the wrong British player! Wawrinka has the World's best one handed backhand! You manage to capture his spectacular backhand! Well done and great video on how to enter Wimbledon grounds! I manage to bring a Thai couples in for their first visit! Most people outside UK are clueless on how to enter the Wimbledon Grounds!

I went for 3 days in 2014. I only wanted to get a ground pass so I did not camp. Arriving at 6am my queue card number was nearly 5000 and I got in to the grounds just as the matches began at 11am. The next day I was 15min earlier and my position improved by 600. Being a tennis fanatic, Wimbledon is mecca. It was even more special that this tournament full of history and tradition was the last of the 4 grand slams for me to visit. I did encounter a rain delay during my visit, but it's not a true Wimbledon experience without some rain!

If you don’t find getting into those show courts is a must, you can get ticket to ‘The Ground’ without queueing on mid-day. That’s what I have done today (12/7/2024). Plus you don’t need to get strawberry and cream from that particular booth. They are sold everywhere😂

I went on the first Tuesday this year, did feel there was something changed in the whole vibe, or maybe it was just me not being as excited as the first few times. But even this year's finals are a bit disappointing to watch as the men's final was a repeat between the two of last year and at a lower level. like you I will stick to more of playing tennis myself.
Susie obviously didn’t do her homework before the queue 😅 You don’t queue outside the court. I’m so glad I found special tickets in 2018 where I can sit in Centre court near the players box to watch Federer. Paid a fortune but it was all worth it. Admire your courage of getting in the queue to attend when you don’t even know the 3-time grand slam champion Wawrinka😂 - his name is French so it is “Vavrinka”
