she used to work around the corner from me. everyone described her as the most generous and kind person. i still keep my crime stoppers sticker on my car for her. it’ll stay there until he is arrested and charged for what he did to such a gorgeous girl. her mother became a regular at my work after her murder and just seeing her broke my heart. she carries that pain with her constantly and it’s so visible. my heart is always with her family.

He will recover. This world is strange, odd, and extremely cruel to many people that deserve nothing but the best. Why? I have no certain or good answer besides the theory that everything happens for a reason, and anytime anything horrible happens to you, it's only to build you even stronger. This was an extremely saddening case and I know the family will find closure eventually. Just sad any if this happened to begin with... My prayers are with the family. May she also Rest in Peace 😔

You are very good true crime researcher and also a great storyteller, you have a very soft soothing voice. My “problem “is that I always listen to your stories before going to sleep at night or if I wake up and struggle to fall asleep again but a always fall asleep at the beginning (your soothing voice) so I have to start over and over again to get the whole story 😂😴. I am so, so sorry for your terrible loss. My only son unexpectedly died 8/21/20, so I can actually understand your pain. It brings us to our knees...there are days I wake up from a vivid dream about my Wade, actually thinking he's still alive. Then, that moment - THE moment - strikes (I'm certain you know that moment, as well) where the reality/finality hits and I forget how to breathe...literally. You and I are made to bear a loss that is the very worst of the very worst. It has altered the course of my existence and crushed every dream I ever had. There will be no grandbabies. I will grow older all alone and die alone. That terrifies me. So, now I live in constant grief AND dread. I simply cannot put into words that definitively convey how much I ACHE to see him...hug him. He was my best friend. I shall think of you today and lift you up, as much as I am able. I'm attending my first grief support group tomorrow...

It is so awful how women can get used and thrown away. She was just walking on a beach; had she been with her boyfriend on that walk, perhaps the perp would have picked other easier prey. Just being a woman alone in an isolated place is a potential deadly prospect....at any point a woman lives with the prospect of becoming an object of a stranger's desire or target of violence, an exhausting way to live for a large portion of the population. Love and respect to all the men out there who look out for women and children.
