On June 26th 2022, dozens of surveillance cameras around London captured the movements of serial offender Jordan Mcsweeney. Although these CCTV cameras would help convict him of his terrible crimes, it was all too late for the amazing young woman whom he had taken from the world.

@@liveyourdreammedia Agree to disagree cause Social media has its pros too. People are and were shitty and social media just made that more clear. Even without social media lack of accountability will always be a big issue with a lot of other cons we can put on social media. Without the internet, it would just be hidden like it use to be or still is technically.

I just watched a video on "identifying" killers and offenders before they strike. I wish I could remember who posted it. Based on children committing crimes family were harassed for years cops showing up doing illegal searches and doing everything in their power to prove they were committing crimes. No crimes were ever committed and all that happened was innocent families targeted and harassed by corrupt cops. So identifying can only happen after and given the UK's camera system finding the criminals seems to be pretty easy compared to the rest of the world.

Repeat offenders especially violent ones need to be locked up for significant time. 29 convictions and over 60 something offenses. Couldn't be more obvious. Should have been locked up for a long time, years ago. Whoever gave him paroles needs to be charged with something as well. Also highlights how destructive some people can be on alcohol. This crime was totally preventable.

I was once attacked by a man on a busy street, in a nice area, in broad daylight. He was a stranger to me but was trying to say I was his ex-wife. I tried to stop one of the many cars which were passing, no one stopped they waved me away. The people walking down the street turned away and crossed the road. No one came out of their house. The gentleman in a stationary car nearby did nothing, not even call the police. In the end I managed to get free and outrun him. Don’t assume people will come to your assistance. Don’t assume just because it’s Saturday at 2pm with lots of people around you are safe: YOU ARE ALONE EVEN WHEN SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE!

One time when I was out for a walk a random woman suddenly linked arms with me and started talking like she knew me. I was confused at first but she kept glancing behind her and I realized she was trying to get away from someone. So we kept walking for a few blocks, she called a friend who was in a bar nearby, and when we got close she said thanks and went to meet her friend. It doesn't take much to help someone but if you're being followed don't assume anyone else will automatically jump in to help you. That woman basically forced me to help but she was smart in doing that instead of just waving her arms screaming for help. I would happily do that again if it means keeping a person safe.

Guys like him are the reason why our mothers and girlfriends can't walk outside alone when it's dark and also the reason why girls are afraid of us young men / boys without us doing anything. I had it several times when I walked home from the supermarket (I'm often shopping there at 21.30 or even later) that girls who walked in front of me alone, were always looking at me (I'm walking faster than most women of course) and because I was afraid of making them afraid, I crossed the street or pretended that I'm on the phone (sometimes I was really calling a friend) and then talking about videogames or other nerdy stuff that hopefully makes her feel comfortable. Scary times we're living in. :(

Pretty grim that you should be experiencing that level of distrust. Problem is bad people (and they can be women as well men) don't have 'dangerous monster' tatooed across their foreheads. They look like me and you, so women in particular are cautious. I like wandering in the dark around 21.30 too. It's a nice time of day. I'm a sixty six year old retired teacher and school leader (female). My mum gives me grief. She says I'll be found dead, floating in the canal one day. Watch this space. In the meantime, you have every right to wander harmlessly in the dark and shop at 21.30.

People DO NOT change. Sex offenders should never be let out. 🤷‍♀️ Back in 2016, my ex-husband’s childhood friend tried to sexually assault me. He didn’t succeed. I told everyone about it. Reported it to the police. Some said: oh it’s women’s fault sometimes. I did nothing. We were on our way to my ex-husband’s mom’s wake. His friend had to pick me up from the airport because my ex-husband was still at the funeral parlor. I was an easy target for him, 5’2” Asian woman. He didn’t know I trained Muay Thai for four years and 3 years for boxing at that time. 2019, he sexually assaulted a 12 year old. Daughter of one of his childhood friend as well. And on that one, he was successful. I’m sorry, but people do not change. Sex offenders should just rot in jail. He was jailed, I was told. But released during the height of the pandemic. This isn’t right.

I was a bouncer for many years in a city. One observation I made is predators always look for a easy target. And one big mistake I see is people leaving a establishment looking at their phone. Do not do this!. Put your phone in your pocket before you leave hold your head high and scan the surroundings if someone is looking at you look at them. By doing this your increasing the chances they will choose someone else. Because you clocked them and are aware of your environment.

I just mentioned taxi, and not ride shares. I don't trust ride shares if I'm on my own. Taxi drivers have to have some paper trail at least if something were to happen, and I believe at least in some states, they need a special license. It's why I also talked about being on your phone. Talking to someone while walking or riding will help you seem like less of an easy target, because someone will immediately know something is up and likely to call the police. The notices even mention that these people are at a high risk of reoffending, and yet, they’re allowed to live freely. When I was 18 I was followed and approached by a man saying vile things to me, I can still remember the almost animal fear I felt , as a woman there would be absolutely nothing I could do to stop what he was doing as men, on the whole, can physically outmatch most women. It takes your brain a moment to comprehend what is happening. What is profound is that at that moment all the world and people you are tied to melt away , it is over, your life is over. After that you are afraid of the physical pain that you might experience. In the end I managed to run away to the nearest house. I am 57 now and what I have seem develop is tragic. I was in an empty street when the incident happened to me but it it wasn't I guarantee every man would have come to my assistance. During the 70,s and 80,s that was the way of things. Families have to transform, societies need to transform. Things have to change at their root so that we have less people developing into monsters. This guy had clearly given up. For something like this to happen you really need to be completely broken within, and that's what happened to him. He didn't care about the cameras, about leaving fingerprints, he didn't even care whom to hurt - he looked for anyone over whom to exert his power to compensate for his feeling of misery and inadequacy. He didn't even appear at the trial, not because he's a coward, but because he doesn't care. Truly scary.

It's was terrifying watching him walk around like a predator following those first two women, evade getting caught and then continue to chase women. I feel like this happens a lot. Hearing about all the opportunities this man could've been stopped, from public passersby, her neighbours, no one helped. Plus, the many times this horrible creature slipped through every possible crack in the system that led to Zara's death, this feels like it was preventable. Her aunt was right. There needs to be a conversation with leaders, educators and a deep change in mindset of people. Sexual boundaries needs to be taught alongside sex ed/ biology or something because people need to learn this is not okay.

Also when a crime of murder is so evident of who has committed it, why on earth do we not have the death penalty? It really does beggar belief! Once I was walking from a busy main street, onto a quiet side street while walking home. An older man shouted me from the main street, he told me to quickly come back towards him and just focus on him, nothing else. Little did I realise but I was being closely followed by another man who was hiding in the shadows. I slipped past him and quickly ran to my saviour. I reached him and he said I'm sorry love I know it seems strange but I have a daughter your age I saw that man closely behind you all the way up the street and I knew he was looking for his moment. We looked back down the street the strange man threw himself down onto the ground as though he had fallen, then he jumped up and sprinted up the street. That older man standing holding his takeaway. He'd ran out of the takeaway restaurant with it once he'd spotted me being followed up the busy main street. He made sure I was safe and he trusted his gut. I will never forget focusing only on him as I walked past my predator, hiding in the darkness. If only those 2 men had helped Zara. Ps. This is not a man problem. I've known many evil men and women. This is a justice problem. It's so easy to blame men but there are many wonderful men in this world who don't deserve to be tarred with the same brush.

True crime docs have really made it clear to me how incredibly necessary the death penalty is. Narcissists are absolutely terrified of the death penalty, and I've heard of hundreds of cases where the only thing that got confessions and cooperation from murderers was their fear of being sentenced to death.
