One solution to this problem could be a vigilante biker gang of sorts, somethimg like in USA. It would provide the safety unlike from being a single vigilant. The fear in passerby seem to be that they feel they would be singled out and targeted later on. Creating a community of vigilance would do some real good when the police have their hands tied.

My friend fought back in Manchester after 2 scooters one with pillion, tried to rip his ignition key out. He trains in MMA so they were out of luck on the day, but my friend is now being prosecuted for an attack on a minor, the thieving scum is only 14. He is accused of attacking the minor for no reason and he has 8 witnesses from somewhere. None of the public saw anything even after originally giving their names and address to police. Yes it makes it easier for criminals to get them, but they already carry deadly weapons. Tomorrow I could be in a situation where a criminal has a knife and I am unarmed and not allowed to protect myself, or we could both have a gun. The second option sounds better to me. If he is pointing a gun at me and no one else is around to help, I could simply not draw my gun, so I don't get shot. So I would be in the same situation as we are in today anyway. At least if citizens can arm themselves, there is a chance we could help ourselves or each other.

I used to see lots of rural crime being committed & I’d report it. Now I don’t bother it’s a total waste of breath. When you realise it’s all part of a bigger plan. Which is you will own nothing & be happy. Nothing to steal then n you bike will be rented n so will your car. Those rental e scooters are just the trial for bikes & then cars. Facial recognition cameras & own nothing equals no crime. A guy I no who had a scooter shop in London left prob 7 yrs ago says they just walk in shop n take what they want. They were outside all day just waiting to get a bike or a helmet. Or the days takings. After getting no we’re with police he ran a few over in a van but it didn’t stop them. Broken Britain 🙄
