I'm an editor and to blur people's faces is extra work, and I rule it an courtesy alloted only to protect someone from violence or threat of safety. It should be an absolute that if you blur to protect you should also not blur to inhibit someone that's violent. Even if they just threaten. If you are in public, your acts are shared publicly. The public is free to decide to allow you more privacy or not. If you commit a crime, and you are caught on camera. You should not be able to wiggle out of that. You do not deserve to be blurred if you use your privacy to continue harming others. Blurring a violent offender enables them to go free for longer, I do not understand that the law has not drawn proper lines for media to help expose perpetrators. If someone asks me to blur them, they are commanding me to spend an extra hour or two after work making sure no frame or reflection captures their likeness. If you act threatening like that, you bet I'm not going to blur you. Come tell me who you are and I'll consider it.

As a Brazilian I should say that the violence is big in our country, and we need to improve a LOT more. But at least we do not "solve" our problems by criticizing other countries that produce the wood and a big part of the food that you use in your lifes. We solve our problems by fighting in the right side, and not by blaming someone(at least a part of us).You British say that you are "superior" but your speech is always based on "how many immigrants are responsible".

@@brunoferreiraandrade8273 I'm not British but it seems that this is Immigrant drivers are beiong attacked by Immigrant gangs. Blaming the violence on a portion of the immigrant population is accurate. Be it there or in the US countries need to screen and be more selective about who they admit. IF an immigrant becomes a criminal the ENTIRE FAMILY should be deported to give a larger disincentive to get involved in crime and gangs. You should be on a probationary status for 5-10 years before getting full citizenship.
