Man Antoine and Andy Mckee are so frustratingly beautiful to listen to. They just make it look so effortless and their compositions are impeccable.

Wow! I don't think I've ever heard that amount of sustain from an acoustic guitar! The shimmering tonal qualities are remarkable. I know the player is ultimately integral of how a guitar sounds - & Mr. Dufour is an outstanding awesome guitarist, but no doubt, this is one beautiful guitar... and a beautiful song.

This is absolutely inspired music of the spheres!! Remember, friends, nobody had chance to put a comment caption on every creative product in the days past. Give this marvelous artist his due! I love Antoine's sensitivity that grows & grows year after year-- I find this to genuinely be of a piece with his previous harmonic material. He composes beautifully and plays with authentic passion-- what more can anyone ask of an artist?

Astounding. Meeting Mario on the road with you last year and playing his immaculate instruments was one of the highlights of my life. I dream of one day owning such a guitar. I will help spread the word for Mario and his incredible craftsmanship, as well as your wonderful demonstration with such a tasteful new tune! Cheers to you Antoine.

I bought the same guitar as Antoine's main axe (except for the cutaway, which mine doesn't have) directly from Mr. Beauregard two years and a half ago. It is such a piece of artwork! I only wish I had more time to play it to reach 1/100 of Antoine's mastery :-)

I love your work Antoine and I bought all your albums, not only is your songwriting brilliant, your technique is surgical and your sound is just impeccable. If I had to nitpick I would say that there is a bit too much repetition in some of your songs, just a bit too structured for my liking, but this one is progressive ear candy, I wept while listening to it for the first time.

Gorgeous sound, with amazing harmonics...I'm tempted to call this an incredible guitar, but then again with this guy playing I'll bet a shoebox with elastic bands stretched across it would sound good. That said, I really want to get my hands on this guitar, it's beautiful.

German Spruce is not as common for a topwood no? Or at least compared to others like American Sitka/Spruce or cedar. I'm asking because the amount of sustain and the general clarity of the ring of the notes is crazy, I've never heard another guitar like it, and I was wondering if that is a feature of German Spruce?
@slennie6 жыл бұрын
I think most of the sustain comes from the Maple back&sides.

@Plop23210 жыл бұрын

too much perfect - I used to like songs such as 30 Minutes in London (2008 ?)... here I just feel like stupid not liking this song because I dont really understand it or see the point... at least it is what I feel and music is feeling right ? only personal remark from my side of course. nevertheless good to see progress has been made in 7 years, maybe more on Antoine's side than on mine !

@SeanBoyle10 жыл бұрын
It's there for looks. Technically you could actually play those notes, assuming it is supported from behind to keep it from breaking. It would be awkward to play up there, so I doubt anyone would.
@mistertomlinson10 жыл бұрын
Chirciu Remus This. I never realized what they were for until watching this video. I've played pinch harmonics that far up on the strings, but never realized how easier it'd be if there were frets to let me know EXACTLY where to pinch. Now I want one on my guitar. :/
