For your information, according to the Edo state Local Government law, Councillors cannot impeach or suspend a chairman without the approval of Edo State House of Assembly...that's the law.

The governor has no right whatsoever to suspend the local government chairmen because they were elected.

Who gave this lawyer a PhD? He talks like an illiterate. The supreme court give autonomy to lgs. He goes further to quote the judgment of the supreme court that the lgs can only be removed by the lg not stste government. He concluded that the governor was right suspending them because they did not replace them with caretaker committee members.
