Suspiria is now available on 4K disc courtesy of synapse so here’s my review of the Dario Argento cult classic!

Hi Adam. I appreciate the excellent review of the 4K HDR of "Suspiria". I'm Don's colorist and have been for 18 years now. This is the first time I've added in any comments to any review. We really worked hard to give what we believed was the best look to this classic. We weren't trying to introduce our subjectivity into as much as reviewing past transfers and what we felt was right and wrong with them. In the end we were able to get Luciano Tovoli's blessing with the direction we went. He was able to review the movie in Italy in a post house he trusted there. It was a fun experience. I know Don May Jr. ie, Synapse Films, appreciates it too. I'm glad you liked it.

I adore the HDR and colors. The interior of the Tanz dance academy is haunting!!! The sound is a major component as well so turn it up high 🔊🔊

If I own the 2018 1080p Blu-ray from Synapse, am I good enough to just keep that? That Blu-ray was from the 4K source, and that disc was pretty expensive here in Canada. But is it truly worth it to spend double the price for an increase? I'm just getting into UHD now.
