If I suspected strange things were happening at that so-called dance academy, no way I would gone down in that witches corridor. I would have packed my bags and got out just as fast I could. Susie had a lot of nerve. If I was smart like her, I would have been smart enough to leave! I wouldn't have hung around that school another day!. But like I stated in one of my earlier commentaries, "You can't get fantasy mixed up with reality." If she had left she wouldn't have discovered that horrible secret about that academy, finding out that her life was in jeopardy and destroyed the witchcraft in the end! By the way, I was only 14 years old when I first saw this movie in a dollar theatre on 19th and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia, PA in 1977.

Ughhhh I wish I could find this reprise alteration of the "Suspiria theme" on the album somewhere (not at all familiar with music-reading vocabulary) but - if you figure the theme is just 2 lines that are nearly the same, repeating - specifically the 3rd & 2nd to last notes of the second line, is what's altered when compared to the beginning of the film. At the beginning of the film it evoked more of a mystery feeling, and here it sounds like more of a "mystery solved" feeling. Love this movie

This alternate take of "Suspiria Main theme" has been published on some special extended edition of the OST. Currently, it is available on the 40th Anniversary Edition under the title "Suspiria (Alternate Take) , length 3.51.Hope this can help.
