I am muslim and I have never seen this story in Quran, I would like some references and quotations from the holy book or hadeeth etc. As a sunni muslim we do not believe in blood as a reason for leadership, and we believe in democracy. I have no problem with shia muslims, they are our brothers and sisters, we have our disagreements as the next thing.

In brief..the Lord has been sent messengers sake of the aggrieved victims of injustice.then the messengers were spreading the truths which were hidden by unjust dictators to legitimize their injustice humiliation and slavery which based on myths and legends.(false religion) after that the new followers stood to confront the unjust dictators and freed the poor helpless form grips of tyrants.so the followers of the lest messenger spread all over the world to accomplish that mission by that ideology..then established communities based on freedom social justice equality and human rights .and what you have mentioned the story is part of that myths and fary tales which is against the Qur'anic education and all commitments of the lord.
