Sussexes' Nigeria tour shows 'what they could have achieved' if they stayed in the monarchy

SkyNews.com.au Digital Reporter Reilly Sullivan discusses the public’s reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s unofficial royal tour of Nigeria.
"I think it really goes to show what they could have achieved if they stayed in the monarchy,” Mr Sullivan told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“When people actually see them travel the world looking official, they inspire people.
“I think it’s probably been a rare success for them in terms of public relations.”

By what metrics did you measure this as a success? This was supposed to be in aid of the IG, but not one mention of the charity. Just seemed like an expensive ego trip for those two clowns. Worst of all it seems to be off the backs of poor hardworking Nigerians, most of whom are living in poverty.

Right so going to a country that human rights are very poor, where young girls are still subject to genital mutilation, where 87 million people live below the poverty line, where soldiers are complaining that if injured that they don't receive correct care and that their living conditions are very poor, where Meghan dressed inappropriate and said that she is 43% Nigerian which is very unlikely (why she couldn't have just say she has Nigerian roots it's more vague and harder to prove). Success????

Meghan refused the help the Queen offered on how to negotiate etiquette and protocol and it shows! Hugging Muslim men she's meeting for the first time. Displaying her body. Taking precedence over her husband and leaving him looking 'spare'. Giving children advice on mental health she is not qualified to give. Playing to the camera but not genuinely relating to people. She hasn't the first clue what royal visits are about. The first thing being to learn. To understand. To look for ways to be of assistance. Wearing clothes which blend in with what other people are wearing. She treats herself as a star.

They weren't at their best at all. Protocol was trampled on. Inappropriate dress for a muslim school visit, & other events. Inappropriate touching of men in a Muslim majority country. An obviously bored Meghan was rude and dismissive of young girls trying to talk with her, whilst she ignored them looking for the next photo opportunity! How is that being at their best?
