@monkeygrove In my childhood, my little sister and I had my mother audio tape (on casette) record Charlie's Angels, it was on after our bedtime! All you would hear is this stupid background music all the time and have NO idea what the heck was going on! lol

My thinking here as I re-watch this is that just because that tape went into the water, doesn't mean it was the last one. You've got to figure Harper made a few copies to keep dancing with Edward and take his money. If I was Luke, I would've found Harper's address and searched the hell out of it for cleaner copies of the tape. Of course, that would have lessened the drama, and I'm not Luke.

Betsy Keller those were my initial thoughts too. I think as money got tighter it was easier and more convenient this way. What always bugged the crap right out of me is that Luke always solves a Mystery “5 min till midnight.”

I do like this scene and of all Luke’s friendships with guys, this is my least favorite🤷‍♀️ “You’re turning into a cop!” I thought Luke claimed to hate all cops. Justice turned out to be a jerk. So easily swayed by grand daddy Eddie🙄
