Completing 10 routes in a row will get your buddy excited for free even faster since there is no cooldown. 4EP(excited points) per route. With a bike, doing the same route on a straight 500m route, is much much faster than 2hours of tedious tasks, and you’re probably already on the move. You’ll get 20k xp, some items and exercise as well.

This event will be better than people think. The boosted buddy features are great for guys like me who want to get the platinum buddy medal. The Pokémon in the 2km eggs are very nice, good shinies and easy to hatch because they're only 2km. Keep in mind this event will partly overlap with the Cleffa hatch day! But the best part i think are the field researches. Each field research is easy to manage and contains one of 5 pokemon, with all of them having the chance to be shiny + boosted shiny odds. And 3 out if those Pokémon give bonus stardust with the highlight being Combee with a base of 1000 stardust. Keep all of those research encounters in your freshly emptied storages and collect them at the next 3x catch stardust event. Speaking for me personally, i will grind tf out of this event😤

a point i'd like to bring up on your excited buddy strategy - you can do this in 30 minutes. feed, play, snapshot, battle (x3) & do a route, start timer after route completion try and complete a route so that it coincides with the end of the 1st 30 min window (only click 'complete route' after 30 minutes have passed). And usually another snapshot and play (maybe a third heart) will get it excited. I've been doing this method to grind legendary XL candies whenever they're near the 15-16 km mark, to ensure that i don't accidentally make the pokemon reach the 20 km before getting it excited

For buddies, leaders, gyms, raids, pvp, and rockets all count as different interactions. Also routes are free and unlimited. To get excited in 30 mins: Switch your buddy Feed, play, snapshot, battle a rocket, a gym, and team leader. Then do 4-5 routes. U can knock it out in minutes if someone else is driving because there is no speed cap to routes

Got my Tapu Bulu yesterday, it took me down to my final Ball.😅 As for the 5 2KM egg pokemon, only need Drilbur and Combee as Shinies, got the other 3 already. Been looking for a shiny Drilbur since it released.

I'm actually pretty excited for the 2km eggs in this event. I didn't find a Shiny Combee during the Bug-Out event, so possibly being able to hatch one would be nice. It will also hopefully make it easier to get the Cleffa eggs for its Hatch Day. After the mess that was the trainer customization update and how buggy their updates in general are, I'm not too thrilled with Niantic updating the map. Hopefully any issues that it can cause will be fixed in time for Go Fest at least.

Another new update recommend, When Pokemon Go players dueling with grunts, sometimes players will find out one of shadow Pokemon is same as players buddy Pokemon regardless grunts dialogue. This shadow Pokemon same players buddy Pokemon will guarantee appears bonus challenge session after grunts was defeated. This shadow Pokemon will turn to Shadow Zorua after successfully catch it.

☝️ for best buddying, when you’re battling the team leaders you do not need to finish the battle (or even participate for longer than a second!) so it’s probably best to always put your buddy in a master league team and “top left” immediately so you don’t need to remember what cp each buddy is to choose what league to train in.

Umm bad call. This is an event not to miss. This is one of the best weeks for stardust. Unfortunately you live in Ottawa, no real beach just the river. If you live on the ocean the stardust spawns are crazy. Shellder, Staru, Paras, and meowth. And the lucky area have Audino nests on top of it.

Since I last played Pokemon go I've had nabers friends telling me I lost weight because of playing pokemon go. I've been getting out and getting go Pokemon for pvp but the pokemon go next work is down all the time I just don't know what to think. I love getting out and finding good pokemon. Nope. Although current buddy can only walk up to 40km to generate candies. So if you maxed out your buddy today, swap to a new one occasionally until next day

you can switch them out and they won't loose heart progress

Speaking of the Rediscover Kanto Event, I won't be too surprised at all if we get new regional exclusives for Gen 1 Pokemon (like the Hitmons, even though Hitmontop didn't appear until Generation 2), and potentially see some current Kanto regionals retiring and appearing as worldwide spawns if we're lucky enough (like hopefully Tarous). Not a bad event to go after Trubbish and Bincale because I will need those Pokemon and the former's evolution on my Pokedex.
