could you please explain how PVC siding is "sustainable"? are you aware that PVC is on the International Red List for the most harmful materials on the planet? both to produce and to dispose of.

Great question! As stated, PVC has gone to landfill since the infancy of the product category. AZEK, in particular, is providing a sustainable approach to disposing of PVC scrap by recycling it and reintroducing it into the manufacturing of other AZEK/TimberTech products. Through our company Return Polymers, we have become the #1 recycler of plastics and vinyl products in North America.

This is the old (European) way of installing European flangeless windows... it's better to look into methods that don't use those metal brackets because those brackets are small thermal bridges.

Yes. Hard to justify over hardi or metal if it isn’t a high traffic area.
