This is a typical resistance shown by the CEB in the past. They give inconsistent information to customers and discourage solar energy applications. However, with time, they are now changing their attitude. What they should do is gradually improve the national grid to go towards a "Smart Grid". Then the grid can absorb both solar and wind energy.

There are some highly professional PV companies in Sri Lanka. However, what you said is right for many unprofessional PV companies. They ignore after sale service, but in the long run these companies will go out of business.
not taken for the benefit of the general public, Net-Plus scheme paid Rs 22 per unit for 7 years and then reduce to Rs 15 for the next 13 years. Then increased to Rs 37 per units, and reduced that to Rs 27 per unit. Most of the decisions in Sri Lanka were not taken for the benefit of the general public.
Absolutely true. Compare this with the total power production of ~4 GW at present. What we need is gradual improvement of the national grid to absorb solar and wind energy. CEB must work towards achieving a "Smart Grid" in the future.
His idea is good but current local administration and CEB inefficient is set back to our country economy and growth of the country Eg- there is new schemes introduced by CEB net plus plus but CEB staff don’t know about schemes and procedures to compete work such pathetic situations our country right now They don’t have future plan for energy consumption pattens
