Sustain your fashion: Learn to sew. Mend and remodel your clothes. Fix it, don't just replace it.

Please tune down your music, it's very loud and gets in the way of listening/processing the info you are sharing. Appreciate this channel and subbed bc I'm in Sustainability! You had me at Dhaka Muslin. Would love to connect and discuss a collaborative project. Thank you.

If you can't sew now, check all the instructional videos here. I learned to make bags and purses from repurposed denim and cotton. I now sell them for $75 each. Thanks KZbin!

I think schooling is a bit reductionist as well. Usually you are trained in one area or one expertise, but in reality there’s a lot more to learn when you become employed

Will someone please summarise the solution bit, without diluting his idea? The problem, as I understand, stems from fragmentation philosophy that targets labor more than anything else to capitalise on benefits, but the landscape is changing, and so the fashion giants can not keep up because of the brokenness built into their system. The Science they come up with has all sorts of discrepancies because of how non adhesive and disconnected it is.
