I have a start-up company called Aqua-Verm pvt that is experimenting with worm-meal based feed. At the moment we have developed a hybrid feed comprising of traditional grain and earthworms as a protein source. We have integrated vermiculture into aquaculture. The results have been amazing, and the cost of production is not as high, so our vision is to make aquaculture sustainable and also protecting the consumer.

Agriculture must be a compulsory subject at school. Government must ban schools from teaching Portuguese, French, Mandarin. Agriculture is the back born of our economy.

Fish is not affordable to your ordinary zimbabwean earner. If one has $3 and given an option to buy fish or beef they will buy beef. $3 of beef can feed 3 people. $3 of fish can only feed one person.

there's short supply that's why business owners hike up prices. Also cost of inputs, immunisations, pond clean up and feed ma1. However, many innovations are coming up.
