It also contains every type of explicit content I can think of and probably shouldn’t be read by anyone who hasn’t been a responsible adult for a while. I’d add that in this day of researching everything before you buy it you will get massively spoiled if you do that with berserk. My advice is to not look before you leap. It is far more rewarding to find out things along the way. If you have read the manga to a point *spoiler alert* the band of hawk is not finished. I wish it was, but it isn’t.

@@DoratTheKiller Unless they can actually provide proof that Miura had a fairly comprehensive outline of the arc(s) leading up to the ending, including key dialogue and illustrations of pivotal moments I am pretty firmly in the no camp on continuing it. I’m trying to be as realistic as I can when I speculate that berserk was maybe 10-15 years away from being finished when he died, so there is almost no chance that anything like that exists. Without his vision and artwork at the core berserk will likely lose everything that I like about it in a continuation, but we’ll see what happens.

Does anyone else personally imagine guts fighting alucard? "Only a human can kill me" Meanwhile guts is human, and much more well built than anderson. And, not only does he have the berserker armor, he had the dragonslayer, which would most likely cleave alucard back down to hell.(if guts didnt get shot, but im imagining level 0 release, with mountains of zombies and giant nine headed dogs. Alucard likes a fair fight, so I assume that he would go all swords until guts pulls his cannon arm. It just seems like a good thought for deathbattle or something.

I still can’t hate Griffith, because of those beautiful moments that he gave us with the Band of the Hawk, and his beautiful relationship with Guts. His words before the Eclipse, when Guts was running towards him to save him: “Please, don’t touch me, because if you do…” have so much darkness and suffering in them, that are unbearable. Still the most beautiful scene in the entire anime for me was when they found Griffith in the cell, and they realised that everything is lost, and Guts was hugging him. He is the embodiment of a truly narcissist, but I still can’t hate him😅. Very well done villain.
