I discovered this song after a big loss in my life. It was so sad yet hopeful. I wish I knew the translation better. But the energy of it I feel as if I understand, albeit partially subjective. I used to listen to the Berserk soundtrack and had to turn it off after very short intervals. It was too much to take in emotionally. Susumu Hirasawa is a genius in transferring emotion to music.

Its four years... but here is the translation for you: Gazing at the clouds, deep within the cosmos of your breath, set up a ladder into that garden Oil the gates that open with a thunderclap, and dry the lion’s wings in the sun So that compassion and crying voices descending properly into the sanctuary come through like a waterfall, blow the soot of the sunrise far into the distance, and push your way through the rust of the moonlit night Set afloat a rumor of the design for a plan that beckons a noble rain in the emptiness Comb out the hair of the dragon that flies by mantra, ‘till it comes for you by typhoon Oil the gates that open with a thunderclap 'till it comes for you by typhoon

It's like he's delved into some other world (not implying something drug related, but something FAR deeper then that) and wanted to share it with us all. Sometimes it is as if he is from another world.

This is like the type of song that would play as you explore another planet, and discover that extraterrestrial life actually did exist.
Fury One, thanks for this great collection! Susumu is amazing at creating celestial atmospheres and elements that rhythmicly alternate in the song--instruments and voice!

@KazuoKiriyama666 I would have to say that Hirasawa has tapped into the essence of Japan to make this music. I could picture a samurai warrior listening to alot of his music! So this isn't from another world, it's from the spirit of Bushido. That's my opinion at least.
@Program61Lamza Japanese people are raised speaking Japanese, where they don't use the letter "L". It's like how English people might have trouble pronouncing the "ü" in German.

smoking weed definitely kicks down some walls and significantly effects how you listen to music, which in turn effects how you play and write music, and it's normally a positive effect, but isn't necessary to be a good writer. Most of the grateful dead(aside from Jerry) stopped smoking bud and dropping acid in the early 70s. There's a formidable acid movement in Japan amongst the electronic music crowd, though susumu predates this.
