Susumu Hirasawa is one, if not the only person, who can take the sound of a siren that is commonly associated with fear and discomfort and turn it into something so beautiful and inspiring. His work is absolutely incredible.

Definition of finding a old nostalgic song just to see nobody else remembers it, and nobody else has seen it.
Truly exceptional musical discovery for me, very personal and mind blowing composition. I can easily say that this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard ( and I have hear a LOT). So, thanks to Mr. Hirasawa and whoever uploaded this, all the best and greetings from Latvia!
When he sings the chorus, all my hair stands on end.

This song reminds me of the japan tsunami last year. I remember staying up until the wee ours of the morning just watching the devastating videos that were uploaded to youtube. I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying and amazing that was, but this song goes perfect with that memory.
There's a righteous, mournful fury in the beginning melody, just listen. It's call for peace when the siren sounds of war; a call for peace that fears spite-blinded nations burning up their own souls with fires raised in ignorance. Before the blitz drowns out the cry to say enough! take a moments silence to listen; the song is pleading us, to hear a better future in it's melody, not to hear the siren of war and fear...

The main tune could be improvised as an international anthem to unite the world. Although such a thing might be too idealist for now...

We can start change by introducing Mr. Hirasawa to young and old ears and have the music and lyrics capture their hearts. I really believe that exposure to Mr. Hirasawa's music can heal hearts and minds and make each one of us better humans. His music is powerful and sublime.

This man and Devin Townsend need to collaborate together since Devin is tired of the Devin Townsend Project sound and won't be reverting to the Devin Townsend Band or Strapping Young Lad sounds ever again. Just imagine the crazy and amazing music these two would be able to create :)
