Für mich das schönste Terzett in der Operngeschichte.

I heard Sutherland sing in concert. I was sitting in the back row of the uppermost balcony in a 2400 seat auditorium. She sang without a microphone. And the volume of her voice almost blasted me out of the back wall of the theater! And the beauty of her voice was great.

Sutherland is in great voice, Troyanos is great as well, and the tenor is very good. The scenery is minimal and the lighting is poor, but the singing is terrific!

I'm curious to know where this translation is from. Some of the subtleties of the Italian are lost, giving new feelings to certain phrases.

how could you say anything bad about the great joan sutherland...one of the most perfect voices ever created..but i can't help saying that the rage, and conflicting emotions are not reflected in her voice..not for me at least..vocally perfect (though not in her prime) but not engaging

@pianoislove21 Nevertheless, it is good, of course.

Strong Sutherland and luxurious Troyanos...but, why does it look like Sutherland sneezes before every forte note, it's quite ugly- and unwillingly funny, even if that's effective in order to connect the sound and send it to the audience like a bullet...
