My 5 year old son and I just built ours about 2 weeks ago. It was so much fun for both of us. We have been playing with them since we built them. He got peace and justice and I built the protection and defence.

I went to savi's workshop to build my lightsaber for the first time and it was a really cool experience. I picked out a blue kyber crystal and the lightsaber parts I picked is power and control. It was so cool and really awesome.

iv built many of my own very expensive very realistic lightsabers over the years and became a bit of a saber snob but last year i did this at Disney and it was well worth the money imo .sure the savis sabers are more like toys but your really paying for the experience and its a great one

I recently built my first Savi’s saber in July. I built the power and control 😈option at Disneyland CA. Now going to Disneyworld in October and definitely building another, just torn between Elemental Nature and Protection and Defense. Decisions, decisions. Lol

Have I built a lightsaber yes I totally did and with all honesty this is totally well worth the cost of the experience and built especially since my return from blackout days on my Enchant Magic Key and the one I built and love the most is Protection and Defense and kyber crystal I chose was blue I loved it so much. Can you swap out battery packs from one legacy saber to another? Only I ask because the speak is on the battery pack so if you swapped a Darth Maul battery pack with Luke’s will the sound follow?

hi FTF I'm looking forward to if I can once afford to take a trip to galaxy edge and savi's workshop to build a lightsaber but now I've seen so many youtubers who have built one but for me the problem is that there is no one there for permission to build it finished as no one for permission to put the hilt together with the blade it is always themselves who do this which I do not fully understand but still hope to achieve this experience of building a lightsaber one day " may the dark side always be with you "

I haven't gone, but from what I've heard you can book in advance for the savi's workshop, bur not necessary. For the droids I think you just walk in I could very well be wrong though so double check when you get there

I have built one of each saber from the V1 and the current V2 Savi’s sabers. So much fun. The “lead builder” is known as Kembe (sounds like “chem” like chemicals and ”bay”)

Seems very limited on what you can chose for your parts. Should let you mix and match from all the parts. Not be limited to the color of the crystal you pick.
