Very interesting seeing the history of the Anglo Saxons and Sutton Hoo and the ghost ships. It is cool to see the Helmets, masks and replica artifacts. So much history there. How awesome to discover and excavate the remains of the ghost ship. Beautiful home. Really interesting video, Trev and Sue.

Thank you. It’s different to my normal video but I thought a little look at the exhibition would be nice. Glad you found it interesting 😃 Take care in lovely Florida 💕😃 Trev n Sue

Thanks Em, the visitor centre at Sutton Hoo is a lovely place to visit. We didn’t walk all round the grounds as we didn’t have time but Sue and I are going back in warmer weather. 😃 Trev

Not a bad little campground. Too much reading in this🤣 Yes, Joe, get cooking 😊👍💕

Definitely a lot of reading. There were lots of videos and recorded voices but tricky to capture in a Vlog. We enjoyed looking at the gold and jewels from the buried ship 😃 Trev

Looks like a great place to camp. Very interesting history of that area. Jessie would probably love that. He's pretty big into history.

There’s a lot to see but a lot of it is on video screens, boards and recorded voices. Difficult to capture on a Vlog. The grounds and old house were interesting. 😃 Trev

It’s a lovely place and it’s possible to make it a day out. We spent several hours looking around but didn’t walk down to the river as we had to leave the campsite next door. 😁 Safe travels 🚐 Trev

It’s a perfect little site for visiting the Sutton Hoo exhibition. We needed a little more time to explore all the grounds so probably should have camped for 2 nights 😃 Trev

Thank you. This kind of Vlog is not so popular due to the specific historic content and lots of reading. I tried to break it up a bit with visuals but I only covered a proportion of the visitor centre. Well worth a look if you are in the Woodbridge area 😃👍🏻 Trev

I do like a small site, especially if it comes with a Joe😁. Haven't been to Sutton Hoo in many years, must be atleast 30. Had forgotten about it until Coral watched a film called The Dig and asked me if I knew about it. Think I need to revisit. Thanks for sharing and bring back some memories 👍Mark & Coral

Thank you for watching. This is a very unique kind of museum and exhibition and if you have seen the TV Movie called “The Dig” still currently on Netflix I believe, this explains the history of how the treasures were found and the story behind the family who lived there, the authorities and local knowledge. Fascinating stuff. It’s near to Woodbridge in Suffolk which is a great little town. Our favourite campsite in the area is Run Cottage at Hollesley, adult only and part of the Tranquil Parks group. 😃👍🏻 Hope that helps 🚐 Trev

Thanks poshcats for your lovely long reply. We’ve just picked up our latest motorhome and are looking for new places to go. Suffolk is on the top of our list for 2024 so thanks for tips. 👍

Hi Trev and sue just asking do you do off grid camping as the van you have looks fully capable. We normally always like to off grid then we can spend our money in the local area, we then go on a site to refresh and empty, we love the freedom it gives you, lovey van by the way. I hope we can do a trip together some time in the future, or meet up for a chin wag if you fancy it some time. Stay safe great video. Michael & Kim 👍

Thank you for your lovely comments. Yes we have been doing some off grid camping with Smirf and before that with Bertie. When we were Caravanners we often went to rallies and more often than not there was no hookup. Stealth camping is not really our thing in towns but we are not worried about countryside camping or britstops for example. Definitely hope to catch you on the road sometime. 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev n Sue
