I'm sure her kids were given a great education. They should have their own careers and make their own $. Also with what Sutton gets monthly she could be putting away large chunks of $ for her children. It just sounds like she wants to spend all her monthly allowance and then rely on her ex husband's inheritance for her kids. There are people out there in the world who make it without any help at all so if her kids sink without a massive inheritance then it's their own fault. I disagree, when it comes to the kids they raised ; she has every right to be concerned. This happened in my family. My Dad married 3 times. He and my Mom raised 3 girls. When he remarried, he had 4 step children. When he passed away my step mother and step brother got everything my Dad had. We as his natural children got nothing. This is a hard conversation but has to happen. My god mother inherited her mums house in London. The mortgage was paid off in the 70s and the house would be worth about 3 million as it’s a 4 bedroom in Holland Park. She was mostly single her whole life but has 3 kids who grew up in that home. She met this guy in 2016, they married the following year. My godmother ended up dying during lockdown with no will in 2020. Her husband inherited that home because there was no will. He removed all of his wife’s belongings and moved his grown up children and new girlfriend into the house. He then passed away suddenly in 2023 and the house has now been passed down to his children. So my god siblings have lost their childhood home, and the home their mum grew up in and their grandmother paid off over 50 years ago. Had my godmother had proper financial advice prior to marrying this man, her kids would have their home.
