SUV Sound System Test - Haval H6 vs Nissan Qashqai vs Kia Sportage

This is a second sound system test we are performing on the channel and we love this one because it's on everyday cars that are mostly considered by small families as their go-to.
The Kia Sportage used in here is the Mid spec EX while the Nissan Qashqai and Haval H6 HEV are top spec levels, however, Kia Sportage on offer has the same sound system set-up across the range.

I just did plug and play there. Difference is surely coming from their twitter placement. Like in the Ford Fiesta, they are right next to you and bring a lot of clarity as they support the mid-bass speakers below them.

I had a Q5 with a Bose system,with the sub mounted at the spare wheel. That thing had a very very good sound stage, especially if you play live music. I am an audiophile, currently running 2.1 setup of X2 S30 Cambridge Audio paired with a Klipsch 10" sub. I listen to a lot of Jazz and the BOSE is a top performer, I also love the Mark Levinson in the Lexus,its better than the BOSE. I love your show bra

I envy you with that set-up yoh, truly matches the music you love. Jazz needs clean sound systems and you will feel from early on that the sound system is failing. I play a lot of "Epic" music and yeah you need a quality sound system for that. I heard that Mark Levinson in the Lexus is a beast, hope to check it out soon. My Mann! This is nice video, different😸 To me the KIA actually sounds good while being behind in speaker quantity 😮 For outright winning I think the Haval wins here without doubt. Sometimes names don’t mean nothing right 😂

I loved that Kia's sound system as well and it does not sound like 6 especially with the bass it takes out, I even thought it's 7 with one speaker in the middle of the dash but it looks like it's 6 as confirmed by Kia. Haval just had better clarity on mid and highs👌🏾

For this video, I watched it on both my home audio system and some good headphones on my phone. And the winner (for me) is.... Haval 🎉❤ Here's why: The Bose on the Qashqai sounds great but when you switched to the Haval, the music sounded louder and clearer with the same level of base and slightly better mids, I'd say the Sportage is also right up there but from how the audio translates through my systems and me pretending to be an audiophile 😅, the Haval is the winner for me 👌🏽

Sure Zee🤜🏾🙂, I felt like I am taking some points from Sportage honestly because it's such a good sound system and sounds very premium. Haval just had more clarity and it manages to go high without losing it. I had to be fair to the H6 on that one. They did good👌🏾

Because you don't pay extra for Bose, I'll definitely go for it...I'm an audiophile so sound system is very very critical for me in making a purchasing choice...

We are in the same boat, I understand that others are also good but at the end of the day that Bose is going to show it's muscles if you take them keep increasing the volume and set it properly. The Bose in here and the CX-5 is okay, the best set-up is in the Mazda3, yoh yoh🔥🔥🔥🔥

I think these sound systems sound different depending on the car's body type, SUVs for some reason have this disconnect in how they sound as if some speakers are far, I loved the Bose in the Mazda 3 more than in the SUVs, I am sure B&O is amazing though!

I have deep curiousity on that sound system, I played the Sony in the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro and it was good I wonder how it is in there Mahindra. I saw it with overhead speakers in the Scorpio-N (I will test it out forsure).

Sebuwa right now at my age (late tweties) and 2 kids, I will never take a car that does not have adaptive cruise control, auto gearbox, decent ground clearance and bootspace.

I could not believe it when I reviewed it but it's fair to say it did as it maintains most of it's clarity even when you take the volume higher.

I'm very late to the party but I have to ask: How do they sound on the move though (overall cabin noise greatly affects your listening experience). A static listen is a good baseline but only tells part of the story. I'd guess the naturally bassier sound signature fares a bit better the noisier the cabin (a lot of road noise is in the low frequency range) and (the bassier signature) will start to "feel" clearer especially at higher speeds and on rougher roads (as long as it is good, controlled bass). Some guys like to park, chill and listen (beachfront, carwash, jazzclub...). Me, I listen on the go (long distance drive, with friends on the move, the party between parties ;) ...) that's when I feel the vibe. ps: sorry about the endless edits

I prefer a good sound system on the move, not when parked. I don't even enjoy listening to music from the car just chilling unless its an event of some sort. I think the Kia has impressed me on that note. Yes, Bose will eventually when the balance battle when the volume is high, however, Kia did amazingly well with the low volume bass pronounciation and overall premium sound. I tested the Kia on the road, don't think I did with the Haval🤔

Not as good as in the Standard Kia. It's good or mid and highs not as good with bass

Look, low-key I prefer that Kia's sound system compared to Haval, the Kia really sounds good because you can still hear each other on low volumes and still get the sound coming out well, unfortunately the higher you go the more it breaks down, not going to be easy to chill outside and let it play. The Haval surpassed it on that!
