I turn 76 on February 15, hence my hiking/camping days are over. But, to watch your 4K videos on a 27” computer monitor or 65” TV, I feel like I’m actually there albeit without the huffing, puffing, and exhaustion I would endure at my current age. Had the technology been available then, I’d be doing what you’re doing now. Many thanks Tristen for allowing me to come along on these adventures despite my age-related limitations.

Can't say enough how much I appreciate your production value. Just the fact that you take the time to set up the camera to show yourself hiking along (then go back and retrieve the camera) and the fantastic drone shots, takes the viewing experience up several notches. You've created a great profession for yourself, but you work hard for that. Very professional!

This hike looks absolutely incredible, as are many hikes are in SW Utah. But what sets this one apart from other ones, in my opinion, is the lack of people. Growing up in/around NYC for my first 52 years, and now living around the crowded Charlotte suburbs…..THIS is why SW Utah is my idea of living.

Hi Tristan, awesome hike really love your channel. Im a longtime viewer/subscriber and, first time commenter. I got hooked on your channel in 2019. Its a great escape from all the ugly realities around us, geopolitics and, my career working in the ICU in Detroit last few years with all the sad tragedies to name just 2. So thank you for your amazing filming and, letting us tag along and escape that stuff for an hour or so. Also your channel took me some of other creators' channels closer to my home. Mostly creators in northern Ontario and Labrador, which are all remote canoe trippers on the lakes and rivers in the forests of the north. Your channel is fantastic and, I have been meaning to tell you for long time now how much both my wife and, I really love your vlog. Keep up the amazing video tripping it is awesome stuff you present to us lucky subscribers.

It's amazing how crowded the Narrows hike in Zion has become since my first time in 2006. Our group of 4 hiked with six girls from Sweden until they got tired and turned back. Thanks, this looks like a great place to hike!!
@Winstonrodney698910 ай бұрын
I showed up at Zion a couple of years ago wanting to randomly poke around like I do at other national parks only to find the level of pre planning and permits needed a bit prohibitive for someone like me. Also the crowds were literally stifling. I left and probably will never go back. It’s nice to know there are alternatives like this. Unfortunately the same medium that allows us to become aware of these places will probably be their downfall as well.
@ecclesrice978910 ай бұрын
Yeah we didn't need a permit we just showed up at the visitors center and caught a shuttle to the trailhead. That same trip we camped in the Grand Canyon and went to Mather Point at midnight on a Wednesday. Not a single other person was there but my buddy and me which is unheard of today. @@Winstonrodney6989

Yeah I'm glad I saw so much of Zion in the early 2000's. And even in the early 2010's it wasn't too bad if you got an early start (since most people sleep in late), and Angel's Landing was good to do early in the morning when it's less crowded, but now you need a permit.

It is so important to know what one is doing. Suggested precautions by localized authority are not all that should be taken, and it gets really important to know what one is using. Slot canyons can be of the most dangerous places. Adequate footwear is definitely one of the most quintessential aspects of canyoneering/canyoning those landforms. Thank u for showing us one i did, not know!

Thank you for showing us. Exploring places without people is so wonderful. Water and cliff are so beautiful. Time is very short on Earth. Somebody commented "We have time on Earth until the end of this month." I wish I could travel and walk many places like you. Now, I am wondering where I should explore before the end. Recently, I easily feel tired. I don't want to drive too far. I have been checking Google Map for my final destination to explore.
