Just beautiful, but how exhausted you must have been at the end! I, like all the other viewers, really do appreciate you taking us along on these hikes that many of us will never be able to do ourselves. I don't see how you do it, seeing how you've had those hip operations. You're one tough cookie. Lol.

You must do a heck of a lot of backtracking to retrieve your cameras when you hike away from them. The footage of the Tetons is spectacular. One of my favorite places in the country.

Thanks for your videos, Tristan. Your preference for exploration over destination and experience over accomplishment agrees with my outdoor inclinations. I'm curious about a couple of things in that regard, though. In selecting cross-country routes, or even on some high country trails for that matter, you often need to traverse some sketchy terrain. Your inclusion of the occasional spill is good evidence for that! But I was wondering if you carry micro-spikes for emergency use when you think it could be needed; and also what is your go-to footwear(s)? May your travels always lead Home!

My favorite is the incredible scenery and your amusing but extremely chill personality. You people sure have big mountains out west! That was a crazy amount of hiking in one week. I only saw a moose once when I lived in Vermont, and it was a baby, so I got the hell out of there before I crossed paths with the Mom. They are very cute.

Thank you for making this epic video of these epic hikes. It is truly inspirational for this "60 something" viewer. Having enjoyed decades of similar wilderness experience, I find your inclusion of statistics very pertinent and your constantly improving video production a most palatable morsel of topographic delight. Cheers. AJS

Wow! Great footage and I am simply awed that you can find your way down properly w/o an established trail. Gotta say, my favorite part was the moose. We just spent the past 4 days exploring some historical sites around towns like Stanley (we camped at Altruas lake...amazingly peaceful until the last night when the weekenders started coming in), Challis, and the tiny places along the Salmon river. Could not hike because I was in the middle of a cold...but still, learned lots of history of how people survived the cold winters in those towns, and how many native Idahoans left the ever growing city of Boise to live in towns that barely contain 63 regular residents. Ha, came back home tonight to North Ogden and thought "Man, this town is too crowded". lol Absolutely beautiful mountain footage...can't wait to go back and give some of those ATV trails a second look (on foot of course). Thanks!

After watching MANY of your videos (thanks BTW👏👍🏻😉), I have to finally add a comment and ask a question, too. The Tetons are difficult to beat! 😍 When I hiked Table Mountainthe first time, I thought it was definitely in my top 3 of all of my hikes as well. I share your sentiment: the actual hike is very nice, but the views up top are unparalleled. And, the seas of wildflowers close to the final push (usually the best in early to mid August) are amazing. Question: which way did you go down/made a loop out of it? As your mileage was 14-ish, I assume you scrambled down and over to Hurricane Pass!? It did not seem you took the more popular "Huckleberry Trail"/N.Teton Creek Trail. Hurricane, just by itself, is a great hike, too. Greetings from Montana! 👋😎

Wonderful. Outstanding video. Thank you. My wife's 5th great uncle, 2x removed was Rocky Mountain Harry Yount who was part of the Harden Geological Survey in the 1870s. Harry with A.D. Wilson (cartographer) almost were 1st to climb Grand Teton but ended a few hundred feet short at The Enclosure. It was another 20 years before someone climbed the summit. He later became the first game warden at Yellowstone National Park. Interesting character. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Yount You might find his uncle interesting, too. George C. Yount who was a trapper and member of William Wolfskill's party out of New Mexico. Came to California in 1831. He was the first Euro-American permanent settler in the Napa Valley, where he was the grantee of two Mexican land grants. Yountville, California is named for him.
