waited this whole time for momiji only for her to appear for .5 seconds, worth it also i can say i got into touhou because of suwako (watching the kero 9 destiny video over and over) and i still love her alot to this day, her design is very charming. i literally used to be SO OBESSED with her (also also, with yamame being my 2nd favorite character ill say....its not just the spider aspect but i cannot even describe why or pin point what specifically i love about her...i just love yamame...that is all)

You could always cheer up a Tenshi fan with the last few chapters of Wild and Horned Hermit, where it's heavily implied Reimu would not have defeated her adversary without Tenshi and Komachi's assist. Also, depending on how you interpret one scene, Tenshi is either acknowledged as exceptional even by celestial standards or Komachi managed to make her use more of her power through negative reinforcement.

I'm a Tenshi fan, i was also a star wars fan and guess what. She is very very similar to Anakin Skywalker. She is self centered, narcissistic chaotic good character, who is more gifted than others because of stupid luck and not her hard work. It was brilliantly showed in antinomy of common flowers where she does only basic swings, throws and kicks. The rest goes from her celestial status and family inheritance. She is op and she takes every advantage of it. She can't even fly which is humiliating for a toho girl, she uses keystone for it.

I am a Komeji fan. I got into Touhou in 2021 because of bad apple. I am a fan of the Komeji sisters especially Koishi because of the psichological part. Koishi’s backstory is is quite tragic. It is also very interesting that the Komeji sisters could be a metaphor for one being, Satori representing the concious mind, by her opened 3rd eye and Koishi being the unconcious mind. Even their personalities match the concious and unconcious. Satori being serious and calculated because when one is awake the concious mind calculates every decision. The concious mind is used when awake, hence Satori’s opened 3rd eye. The same can be said to Koishi Who represents the unconcious mind. She is playful and free-spirited and does every action acording to her unconciousness. The unconcious mind is used while sleeping or daydreaming and is matching Koishi’s personality and can be represented by her closed eye. Also Koishi is forgotten by the others the same we usually forget about our dreams. It is quite interesting that their design are similar but inverted. That could represent that the concious and unfoncious are separate but they form a singular being

As a Parsee fan myself, I’ve never played a Zelda game lol, I’ve kinda never made that connection due to how different their personalities are. I will say that the point about mostly liking her due to her jealousy gimmick is kinda true lol, however I can say that for me, I really like her theme and her design is one of my favourites. Parsee used to be my favorite character, but now she isn’t anymore. My actual favorite character hasn’t shown up yet. Also some of us in the LW discord (when I was still playing the game) definitely bullied some Sanae fans lol (not seriously bullied, just jokingly).

I'm... kinda disappointed that I don't fall into the Stereotypes of older Koishi fans. I first got into Touhou at the tail-end of the 2010s and the beginning of the 2020s, and she became my favorite character after around 1 year in the fandom, and it's not because of the sadistic depictions of her in KKHTA. In actuality, I just found the whole psychological aspect of her character to be really interesting, and it certainly helps that her palette consists of my two favorite colors. The only thing I can attest to being true is being unable to beat Koishi, but that's simply because I suck ass at Extra Stages in general, and I haven't even tried Subterranian Animism, so even then it's a bit of a stretch. I was ready to see myself in your description and explain why I'm like that, but I got nothing to say because the stereotype simply doesn't apply to me.

Yeah, that is a BIZARRE claim if I've ever seen one. She happened to win the Popularity Poll once - which I believe was cheated - and even then the Poll is only so good to measure how popular characters really are given how relatively few people relative to the fanbase's size actually vote on it. Koishi is very popular but I think she's only so iconic compared to so many other characters that even outsiders to the series oftenrecognise.

TBH, that wasn’t quite what I was expecting for Sanae fans. Personally, I became a fan of hers because we have quite a bit in common. We’re both geeks that like mecha, we’re both math and science people, we both don’t drink much (she probably has a low alcohol tolerance, while I just don’t like alcohol), and we’re both liable to get overexcited about our passions to the point that others might find us annoying. She’s also attractive in the girl-next-door kind of way. (Yes, I am a loser that has a crush on a 2hu, but she’d be high tier girlfriend material for me and I’m lonely. 😢)

Eh. I'm a strange one. Clear secondary that got into Touhou via 13.5 (in early 2017 lol) solely because of Koishi (later got to like Satori more). Then somehow grew fond of Miko (still struggling when it comes to a choice between them). And now I'm a freaking tankie in Siberian nowhere who simply adores Autumn, Aki sisters and especially Shizuha. as a satori fan, i'm quite young and i didn't really have a good experience with people irl yet, got unlucky at school (smokers, bullies, all-time class skippers, the evil sort basically), so now i don't really like being around people, maybe even hate it, but hate is too strong of a word (of course i understand that it's only a matter of time before i meet someone decent) satori clicked with me in that regard, seeing how she is an outcast basically, no one likes her and she doesn't like anyone (with exceptions of course) she's fine with being alone, and i also am - my mother hopes that i somehow find a friend, but i highly doubt it at this point putting that aside, the bigger reason is her stage - the theme of her stage, heartfelt fancy, sounds very nice and is probably my favorite stage 4 theme and when you get to her? peak theme, love at first fight, bowap is such a cool spellcard to dodge, and with that music too? i bought her fumo and i don't regret it, i love satori
