Idk why, but i love most of TD (13) characters. Miko is my favourite mostly because of her personality, appearance and goals. At first I didn't even notice her, but when I played HM (13.5), I just liked her dialogs, and reading Symposium of Post-mysticism just made me like her more. After that I noticed that she has pretty good theme too

And yeah, I don't really like TD. I haven't played Touhou 14+ and so far I think TD is top 2 worst Touhou game from the whole parts, the top 1 being PoFV (9) (Yeah, skill issue, I just can't 1cc it on normal difficulty. Getting good endings without 1cc on normal for me is meh.)

I am very emotion-perceptive, so after summoning her for the first time in Lost Word (my first Touhou-related game) I have started to show interest in her, and now she is among my favorite Touhous. Oh and she kicks ass as a Earth-breaking Healer unit in LW. (By the way, started LW back in March and I have never been Sunny Milked yet)

While the lore based around Miko certainly cemented her placement in my top 3, she used to be my favourite character years before I knew any of it. I simply thought she was just badass and had such a chill vibe compared to most other main antagonists. I mean fuck it, she is the coolest character in the series still. I think shippers are generally hated more because of Twitter shippers. Before that it was just seen as weird, still not a good status, but 100% not perceived in as bad of a light as it is now(because it was mostly very niche and not many people knew about it).

Honestly, I just like Miko because she is cool in general. I never gave the whole trans thing a thought when I first decided to become a Miko fan. Of course, being someone who's interested in history and politics really helps in selling the whole "She was once a Prince" thing. As a Kogasa fan, I feel that she is somewhat misrepresented in the community. Yes she's a silly little adorable umbrella youkai but most people seem to forget that she actually has self esteem issues and gets easily depressed, definitely not the worst cases of misrepresentations (cough cough Meiling cough cough Flandre/Koishi) thankfully though.We need to protect the precious little karakasa obake. I used to be a Murasa fan, but fighting *and* playing as her on Switch 17.5 made her the only character in that game that I ended up liking less than before. Unlike Ichirin, who was made to be a hitbox and became more interesting, I now associate boss Murasa with a bugged hitbox. While most constantly flying opponents in 17.5 get less HP to avoid being too annoying, Murasa isn't counted as one of these despite removing the boat in several spell cards and when stunned she was only hurt by certain attacks that were sometimes impossible to land depending on where she fell. As for playing as her... Well, I can tell from experience that slow but powerful characters in platformers have a tendency to have their powers overshadowed by their lack of mobility, especially when their opponents are faster and more durable. At least the other characters were fun.
